We loved our stay! The property is amazing with beautiful views. We especially liked the hot tub and fire pit. We walked to Pappy and Harriet’s for a concert which was the purpose of our stay. The decor was delightfully and cool and the host was accommodating. Would recommend!

Beautiful house, exactly as described, quiet lovely desert and mountain views on the back porch and from the hot tub - definitely had the thought, “could live here,” and hope to be back for another stay sometime.

Walking distance to Pappy and Harriet’s.Super cozy house with all the necessities. And this is the big win, the mattresses are so comfortable. We would defiantly stay here again.

Fun midweek location

Great place to stay if seeing a show at Pappie and Harriet’s. Everything we used at the place worked as expected. Nice place to get away for a night

Great views

Needed a plaxe to stay near Pappy as we were going to a concert there. The home was in a perfect location, got there in no time. But also the home was clean and the morning and night views were spectacular. Will stay here again. 👍

Beautiful location and place

Loved staying in Pioneertown. What a great little town off the beaten path. The place is unique with its own style, spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we could need and the outdoor jacuzzi was a plus. My only recommendation is to have some brighter lighting over the dining room table.

This was our second stay at Chasing the Moon. The second stay was as good as the first. We will be back.

We never got an email telling us how to get to the property or what the lock code was. I tried several times to text the host on our way and he never got back to me. We ended up finding the property on our own which took awhile and the neighbor was nice enough to call the property manager who gave us the code. Major hassle! Other than that everything was fine.

Horrific experience

Dead mouse in the bathroom trash . Dead bugs on the tables . Cell service and Wi-Fi is really bad . Communication was difficult . Sister came all the way from Canada . Is not well , with cancer . There was no water . We didn’t realise til we got in late. Come morning , still no running water . We were blamed for not telling owners sooner . Was not fixed in time before checkout. The basics of running water is not too much to expect from the get go , let alone dead rodents . I did not ask for a full refund . I said paying $100 is fair (as it was literal camping but with a roof above us ) including cleaning which would take 15 mins max . We were unable to use zero dishes or bath towels with no running water . Owners do not care and asked us to reach out to VRBO instead ..
