Our family has loved staying on Chincoteague Island for years, and we are excited to be able to share our favorite destination with you! Our first floor unit is one of the biggest models in the complex, with 1800 square feet of living space. The kitchen, living room, and dining room are part of an open floor plan that allows for easy relaxation, visiting, and views of the Chincoteague Bay. The back patio is accessible from the living room and master bedroom and provides a quiet spot to watch the boats go by or to enjoy the sunset. The condo is along Main Street, which has many shops, restaurants, a park, and a movie theater, and is a short distance to Assateague Island where you can visit the ocean, watch the ponies, and enjoy the wildlife on the many hiking and biking trails. Our unit has new flooring and fresh paint throughout, and the condo complex has an outdoor pool and a gym. We look forward to helping you enjoy your stay on Chincoteague Island!

Wonderful!

The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything you would need was available in the condo. The pool could have been better maintained as there were many broken chairs and bird waste in the water but definitely didn’t affect our stay. Enjoying the bay views every morning and sunsets every evening was EVERYTHING! Thank you, Sara for the little gift! Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely condo with awesome water views and great location. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Convenient to town even during 4th of July events! Would choose this place to stay in the future

Family Vacation

Our family has vacationed at Chincoteague Island for at least ten times. This, by far, was the best place where we stayed. The accommodations were excellent! We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this vacation and how relaxed and comfortable we were. I love the island, but staying at Sunset Bay made it even more enjoyable. Thank you for allowing us to rent your condo. We look forward to returning to the island and would love to stay at your condo again. Thank you!!

Beautiful home in a great location

This home was perfect for our long weekend with family. We had a group with 4 adults and 2 teens and had plenty of space. It was clean and comfortable. The location was within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Chincoteague

We love chincoteague island and booked a last minute end of summer trip. My 2 girls ages 2 & 7 loved the island and staying at this beautiful condo. Everything was super clean and welcoming from the moment we checked in. Had no issues and wonderful weather. The pool was lots of fun and we were within walking distance to our favorite restaurant Ropewalk. Can not wait to come stay again.

A real gem!

The only way I’d be happier with this stay at this property is if the owner just handed me the keys to the place forever, free of charge. The booking process with the owners was smooth and hassle free. They are very communicative and responsive. Checkin couldn’t have been easier. The unit is staying at a friend’s place who knows how to decorate and keep a place nice. The unit is well appointed with anything you’d need. The couches and beds are comfy for relaxing. Everything seems very well maintained and that makes life so much easier. Location wise, you can walk in to town to get to most things like food, shops and attractions. Excellent, excellent experience.

Great family vacation

This was the 2nd year we stayed at this property. We loved the location and the luxurious interior. It was perfect for our 3 generation family. Pool was great. The whole experience was very relaxing.

Sisters Get Away

My sisters and I had a great visit to Chincoteague! Sara was outstanding to work with. The Condo is gorgeous, spacious and very nicely decorated! The deck overlooking the bay was by far our favorite! Beautiful sunset and there was always a lovely breeze, The condo had all the amenities we needed, it was very clean and the beds were comfy! We didn't use the pool, but I would think a family with young children would love that feature! I would highly recommend this condo!

Wonderful Long Weekend in Chincoteague!

This was the first trip I’ve ever booked with VRBO and our small group was blown away by this awesome property! It was very clean, beautifully designed and had everything we needed for an awesome first visit to Chincoteague Island. It truly felt like a home away from home! Sara was great to communicate with and we felt so welcome as her guests. The condo has a great view of the bay and is close to many downtown restaurants. It was very quiet and everyone we saw was very friendly. Our favorite part was sitting out on the patio and being close to the water. My husband uses an electric wheelchair and everything was very accessible for him. The only thing I would note for other wheelchair users is that the front door has a lip on it of about 2-3 inches but we used his portable one step ramp that we always have with us and it worked great. We would definitely book this property again! Thank you so much Sara and Steve!

Great condo!

Mother’s Day weekend getaway with my wife! Beautiful condo and great location. We had a great time biking around the island and would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Chincoteague.

Superb

I almost don't want to rave about this property too much for fear of it not being available for my own self in the future. The location is perfect. The condo was so roomy for our family of five. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. This will definitely be our first choice of accomodations when we return (which we do every year). So happy to have found this gem.

Enjoyable vacation

Very comfortable, clean and spacious condo tastefully decorated in an island theme. Great location within walking distance to shops, park, etc. Children enjoyed fishing, crabbing, swimming in pool at the condo, and riding their bikes in the neighborhood. Entire family enjoyed Chincoteague and Assateague!

Best family vacation ever!

Our Family has been vacationing in Chincoteague for many years. This location was great for walking to downtown. the condo was very clean and well equipped. We had 3 generations and it was nice to have everyone stay in one place together. The pool was inviting and the children loved it. The back porch overlooked the water and we enjoyed sitting there. We hated to leave to come home. We would love to stay in this condo again next year, but for a longer stay.

Good Choice!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at this large, 3 bedroom condo - which, as other reviewers stated, was much nicer and brighter than pictured with ample parking). We had everything we needed plus more, and it was in walking distance from many stores, restaurants and even a movie theatre. We would definitely stay here again!

Mini Vacation

The condo pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and furniture very comfortable. We loved the view from the deck and even though it was cool we enjoyed sitting out and watching the water and boats. We did have a small problem with getting into the condo, however, we contacted the owners and it was immediately taken care of. We wish we had booked the condo for at least a week.

Sunser Bay never disappoints

Property was in a good location. Housekeepers need to pay a little more attention to showers. Furniture comfy but in need of updates in livingroom. Beds were very comfortable and well maintained. Location is the best on the island. Sunsets are a million dollar view.
