All around breathtaking. Took this trip with wife and kids - 4,2, 10 months. Awesome place to stay. So much to do in short distance and so much to do at the house alone. Fun rock finding (and even more rock throwing). Beautiful sunset and all-day sunlight, amazing views and a feeling of a getaway just in the south shore. Huge table, cozy living room, loft is set so well and comes with everything you need!

The property was clean. There were no dish towels or washcloths we had to buy some. The fireplace did not work and they couldn’t get it fixed. The house got quite cold and we could not adjust the thermostat per the host requirement. The water temperature and shower were not great. The water was lukewarm at best and had a strong smell of metal. Location is great right by the water.

What a lovely property! We have a love of log cabins and this did not disappoint. Cozy and comfortable . Loved the rustic feel of the impressive dining table and the log framed beds. So many nice touches through out the cabin. The lighting feature over the living room is impressive. The cabin is situated overlooking Lake Superior. I especially loved sitting on a bench overlooking the lake. The stairs down to the rugged beach are steep and impressive, Husband and I are seniors, and our joints decided we would pass on the stairs. Our son went down and took pictures of the rocky shore that we love. This property is on our "hope to return" list. Check this property out. You won't be disappointed.

Nice location, fun cabin

This location was great for our family as we visited both Duluth and Bayfield. The cabin was clean and cozy. We would stay again!

Wonderful! Rustic Glamping Bliss!

Stunning property! Beautiful panoramic views, clean beach area, and lovely and inviting home. We have always wanted to stay in a "real" log cabin and this did not disappoint! Perfect for our girl's family vacation!

Beautiful property. The photos don’t capture just how pretty the view of Lake Superior is. Plenty of space, but still feels cozy and relaxing.

Beautiful cabin, amazing views!

The cabin was perfect for our family's vacation. It was so welcoming and clean, and the view could not be beat. The kids especially loved the bunk beds! We had a great stay and would definitely return.

Weekend Get Away

Perfect option for a relaxing vacation. Quiet and peaceful to enjoy the sound of the waves in the morning and great view of the sunset at night. Cabin was comfortable and clean. Check-in and out was seamless and easy.Location was very convenient for exploring from the Bayfield area up Two Harbors. Would Recommend.

Amazing Sunsets!

The cabin was terrific offering amazing sunsets from the backyard or beach below. Our host was very attentive to our needs. Would definitely recommend for anyone interest in visiting the area.

Short weekend break

Loved the location, close enough to places yet lovely and quiet. Lovely cabin with everything you need provided plus a lot of extras to make your stay even better. Very clean and beds were nice and comfortable. Would recommend.
