In the 35 years my 3 friends and I have been taking annual trips to various places in Maine and Canada this was the best. The home is lovely. It is right on the lake. The beds are comfortable and the house has all the amenities. We had trouble finding camp wood in town for the fire pit. We stopped at a neighbors on the lake and asked to buy some wood for the fire pit. He refused to sell us some - he just gave us as much as we wanted. We had a wonderful 2 days and 3 nights there and hope to go back again next fall. Thank you Shaun.

Shawn was great to rent from! All amenities are there! House was very modern, clean, roomy and had everything you could think of! No leaf was left unturned ! Great property and the lake is even better! Can't wait to go back!!

Home is very clean and nicely decorated. It was a peaceful and quiet place to spend time relaxing. Snowmobile trails across the road and ice fishing right out the back door. Host was great, responding quickly to questions and very friendly. I would highly recommend this property.

This house is a great location for fishing both on the ponds and the rivers in the area. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Stay

We stayed for a long weekend - absolutely loved it! Really got to experience Maine for what it is. Much needed R&R for the family. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, and the view of the lake was really nice. We had a busy weekend and didn't spend a lot of time there, but it was very nice.

Beautiful Home on the Water

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Home is exactly as pictured and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Perfectly stocked for all our needs.

Deserves higher than a 5-star rating

The house is amazing. Super clean, amazing view and the owner is very communicative. If I could give a higher rating I would! We would definitely love to come back some day!

Beautiful Home on the Water!

We loved this beautiful 3 bedroom home on the water! Clean, nicely decorated, and there is a beautiful view of the water. There was even a welcome basket waiting for us with snacks, coffee /creamers for the morning and a bottle of local wine. Beds/mattresses were very comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very responsive and followed up during our stay to make sure that we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this lovely home on the Narrows!

Family trip

Nice, quiet, slice of heaven. Would have liked an easier way to access the water for our 3 year old, but he was brave and jumped in once. Saw lots of ducks, loons, and chipmunks. Shaun was easy going and accommodating. Had a couple hick ups with wiring, but he helped us with that. Had a great family trip!

Perfect Maine Lake House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Little Narrows Retreat! 4th of July week on the lake was something special - chilling by the lake, bonfire, s’mores and watching fireworks. Our objectives for the week were to chill out some days and also take day trips around central and eastern Maine (Baxter state park, Acadia and down east). Lincoln is a perfect location for that. Also the fishing (right off the dock!) was superb. Shaun was a great host - very responsive to our questions and requests. Highly recommended for a family lake house vacation in Maine.
