Escape the city to a custom designed post and beam LAKE FRONT home built on 3 levels, including downstairs in-law suite with high-end furnishings throughout. Swim in crystale clear clean NH lake, fall asleep to the sound of loons that live on our lake. The home is 10 minutes' drive to numerous restaurants, grocery store, and world-class bakery in New London. Four-seasons recreation including local well-maintained hiking trail network, kayaking, swimming, paddle-boarding on the lake, just 20 minutes to skiing at Mt. Sunapee resort which is known for superb snow making, 15 minutes to 36 Km of impeccably groomed nordic skiing at Eastman Nordic Center. Location has it all for those who wish to enjoy peace and quiet while at the property, private lake front access, and proximity to both services and limitless recreational opportunities. Two kayaks and two paddle boards are provided.

The home is located on a narrow private road. No trailers of any kind can be brought to the house via this rode. Road speed limit 15 mph.

There is outdoor parking for 2 vehicles and 1 garage spot. No additional vehicles can be brought to the property due to space constraints.

All trash placed in the garage bins must be bagged. If loose trash is placed in the bins, an added fee of at least $100 will be assessed at check out.

Family Getaway

We needed a place for parents and 3 grandparents to stay for Family weekend at KUA. While it was a bit far from the school (in Meriden) we found that we could travel it in about 35-40 minutes and this large accommodating home on the lake was ideal. Our two teenagers were able to join us for a couple of nights and it was great fun sitting around the fire pit roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Very clean, comfortable home with everything we needed. We made wonderful family memories and hope to return.

Fall Color Getaway

The property is in a beautiful quiet area surrounded by trees and color. It was very clean and had necessary kitchenware to prepare meals as desired. We appreciated the laundry facilities and the warm fireplaces during the cool evenings. You do need to be able to climb stairs to reach the bedrooms. The only negative comment we had was the dimness of the lighting and finding the light switches. Yes, we would recommend this property as a vacation getaway. It would accommodate a big family.

Beautiful lake house

We were in nh for a wedding. Although we didn’t get to spend much time in the house, it was beautiful and comfortable. View of the lake was spectacular. We came at peak for foliage.

Amazing Lake House for Families

The property was exactly as pictured. The location was so beautiful and peaceful. The property was clean and very comfortable. There were plenty of toys and games for our toddler to play with, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The check out process made packing up and getting out the door easy. We really enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion I would add is a grill would have been a great addition.

Peaceful lake home

We had three generations in our party and we all enjoyed this beautiful and cozy home. Loved having easy access to the lake and the use of kayaks and paddle boards. Our kids (13 and 10) particularly enjoyed the upstairs loft areas. The property has all the amenities and simple check-in/check-out process. Even with too-cold weather for several days in August, we had fun hanging out near the fireplace, playing card games. Thanks for the great stay!

Nice Spot on the Lake

We had a good family week at this lake house. Kitchen, dining, great room area are very nice. Kayaks and paddle boards were provided and in good shape. Dock and firepit also good. Lake is beautiful. There are a number of nice restaurants within short driving distance. There are also trails locally that are easy to find. We ran and biked the roads in the area with no problems from traffic, dogs, etc.

Nice Cabin with Lake Access

We had a nice stay at this cabin. We enjoyed the lake access, dock, kayaks, and paddle boards. The lake is calm and quiet. The room set up is a bit odd. There are two lofted bedrooms upstairs that are open to the living room and have pocket doors. The main floor room has pocket doors as well. The basement has access from the outdoors or by walking through the main floor room. The pocket doors do not latch shut. There is no air conditioning so it is very warm on humid days. They do provide a lot of fans. The steam shower takes a long to heat up to temperature. Note that there is no grill outdoors for cooking but there is a large fire pit with ample outdoor seating.

Beautiful home by the lake

My family had a great stay at this beautiful house. Everything was as described (or nicer) and the lake was a treat. The owners were great to work with, and I’d recommend the house for a family/ group getaway.

Peaceful NH family getaway

My family of six stayed for one week with our two dogs and had a really nice time. It is a very quiet location (we saw the neighbors a few times in passing on a few of the days, otherwise it was just us at the end of road). The house had everything we needed - linens, well-stocked with cookware, lots of space. The kids had fun with the kayaks and paddle boards and our dogs enjoyed the lake also. Hosts were super - very responsive and easy to work with before, during and after our week. This is a very quiet area and you will have to drive if you need anything, but New London is less than 15 minutes away.

The Call of the Loon

We had a fantastic week at Kolelemook Lake! The house was just as described in the listing (2 full kitchens, 2 sets of washer and dryers, an in-law, 2 loft bedrooms, 3 baths!). The home is beautifully set at the end of the peninsula with direct access to the lake. We spent many hours loon watching on the kayaks, learning to paddleboard and reading on the dock. The water is CRYSTAL clear and great for swimming too. We brought our e-bikes and biked around the lake and the Northern Rail Trail too. We had never stayed in this part of New Hampshire. We found it very relaxing (which is what we wanted). Not a ton of touristy things to do, but plenty of hiking and fresh air breathing. The hosts were incredibly responsive - I asked for restaurant recommendations for a special birthday, and they responded immediately with a great list of suggestions. Check in and check out instructions were very simple and clear. The house had everything we needed (linens, towels, paper towels, cleaning supplies, pots and pans, etc.) Being able to bring our dog was a huge bonus and he loved the house as much as we did. As others have mentioned, there isn't a barbecue grill or AC, but there are plenty of fans and a great breeze. We made some great memories, and definitely recommend this place for a relaxing time away. P.S. I'm obsessed with loons now after hearing their calls & yodels and watching them disappear in the lake like ghosts. They can swim underwater for up to 5 mins!

Nice place with just a few issues

The house is really nice and large enough for all my family that stayed. Communication and resolution of issues were great by the owner and the property management company they use but here were the issues that came up. We arrived for the weekend on Thursday at a lake house that was supposed to have a dock in but that was not put in until Friday, the company said they were behind schedule. Also the backyard was not mowed, the clover and grass was literally up to my ankles so we didn't use that space at all. But the worst part was that the garbage cans in garage were completely full of garbage. I didn't notice it until the second day when I opened up the garage door and the smell was overwhelming. I opened up both garbage bins and they were completely full with garbage and even saw a dirty diaper on the top. I reached out and they came and got the garbage right away but these things should have been done before we arrived for the weekend. The owners really only apologized for the garbage and said it was a miscommunication with the cleaners. Disappointing that these things happened but I enjoyed the space. Also one thing I would have liked is if the house had an outdoor grill, nothing there to cook outside which would have been nice.

Beautiful home, peaceful location in quiet area by the water, great common spaces in home for spending time together, excellent and clear communication by hosts. Couple of the bedroom areas are only partially closed. Easy drive to grocery store, local food spots. Highly recommend

Excellent stay from the start

Before even checking in, the host provided us excellent suggestions of where to eat, what trails to go on, and a sugar shack to check out nearby. Check in was simple enough, the location is easy to find and absolutely stunning. The cabin is equally as impressive. It's bigger than the pictures make it look, with a wide open living room and relatively big kitchen.The beds were all comfortable, and the dual fireplaces in the living room and basement made our stay quiet comfortable and cozy. It was too cold to do so, but there are kayaks and paddle boards available to use on the lake. This is also a very kid-friendly location, with a variety of kids toys, games, and movies available. We were there as a group of 5 adults, but I would not hesitate to return with my wife and two kids as a family vacation. The host maintained good communication throughout, and checkout was as easy as check in. Exceeded expectations!!

Serene Thanksgiving getaway by lake

The house has beautiful large windows overlooking the lake. We were a family of 4 adults and had a wonderful time talking in the great room by the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked and easy for several people to cook at same time. The beds were comfy and place was spacious over 3 floors. I hope we can come back in summer when we can use the kayaks.

Mountain vacation

We enjoyed our quiet and peaceful stay at this lake house. Host was very attentive to any questions we had, and even resolved a small issue we came across. We took advantage of our close proximity to lake and mountain activities during the day, and enjoyed our mornings and evenings at the house in front of the fireplace (which our dog especially loved). We will be looking forward to staying again next year.
