It was a beautiful house; loved that it had a pool! Highly recommend for anybody wanting to get away and enjoy the lake, and also have a pool.

Kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans and most utensils we needed (only missing longer spatula to grill burgers), rooms were super nice. Comfortable beds. Awesome outdoor area both upstairs and down! Kids absolutely loved the heated pool and turned the lights on for some great night fishing out on front dock. 10/10 highly recommend!!! We will be back

The house is beautiful with comfortable beds and couches. The back porch is wonderful and overlooks the lake. We caught lots of fish. The pool was great and even heated. All of the modern amenities in the kitchen and throughout the home. We will definitely be back!

A Lovely Property

We so enjoyed our stay. We made a great choice to enjoy New Orleans from a distance. This property was a welcome getaway from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. So peaceful. We loved it, especially the lake views with pelicans!

Houses like this are becoming harder to find. A little out of the way/private but still close to the city for fun nights out and comes with your own fishing pier. We caught catfish, bass and some golden croakers. The big ones got away and that was absolutely ok! We enjoyed seeing the beautiful Canadian geese who vocally protect their nest but were never aggressive. Host always responded promptly and was very gracious and understanding of special requests. Would book again for sure.

This place is amazing. A little bit of a drive to New Orleans but well worth the quiet. It is beautiful inside and amazingly stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were super comfortable. Morning coffee on the porch was a daily occurrence. Highly recommend.

Amazing views and great accomodations

Took my family to New Orleans for the first time and when we stumbled on the listing for this property it seemed almost too good to be real. The house is very accommodating for four adults, everything was clean, and the views are spectacular. Also very convenient to some great food in Slidell and other activities. Spacious parking, and again that view…. Loves our stay , highly tecommend

Family getaway

This house perfectly accommodated 3 couples. Couches are extremely comfortable and recline. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Lots of birds and very peaceful. Would definitely book again!
