Welcome to 355 Bodmer Lane! Let us host you on our beautiful, private, secluded property on 10+ acres. It's the perfect get-away location - but still only 5 miles to Calistoga/Napa Valley. Sonoma Mountain views from every direction.
The main advantage of our location is that our home intersects Napa Valley (Calistoga), Sonoma Valley (Kenwood) and Alexander Valley (Healdsburg). All easy places to get to if you want to explore multiple wine country areas without long drives every day.
Pls note: For planning purposes, the city of Napa and the city of Sonoma are both about a 50min drive away. We recommend visiting wineries in northern Napa Valley and northern Sonoma Valley for convenience (there are so many famous wineries close by it is impossible to list them all!). Happy to make recommendations.
Parking: A maximum of 4 vehicles is allowed during your stay. Only 1 car is allowed to park inside the main house gate.
Please note that access to the property is via a steep, rural, private road that is narrow, uneven, and less maintained than city streets. While most guests have no issues, those who are less comfortable driving on country roads—or who prefer fully paved urban access—may find the approach challenging.
PRO TIP 1: Most of our guests come to the house from the south/Highway 101. You will pass a Costco on 101 when you reach Santa Rosa. You will also pass a Safeway when you turn onto Calistoga Road. The house is about 6miles from a large grocery store. You may want to pick up groceries on your way to the house.
PRO TIP 2: Most guests prefer a designated driver service for wine tasting. Uber is unreliable due to our remote location. Also, it is awkward with Uber if you are going winery to winery and you buy wine at one or all. Please see: https://mynapavalleydriver.com for more details.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Beginning July 12, we are installing a pool on the property, with construction expected to last up to three months. It should not disrupt your stay at all. Construction will not take place while we have guests at the house. You will only notice some taped off areas of construction at the back of the property —thanks for excusing our dust as we make this exciting upgrade!
During your stay, our regular service providers—including the pool and hot tub technician, gardener, and pest control technician—may access the outdoor areas of the property to perform scheduled maintenance at various times. Because our property is remote, these visits are part of a rotating schedule, and exact timing may vary. All vendors are instructed to avoid entering the house or barn. We appreciate your understanding and approval, as these routine services help ensure the property remains clean, safe, and fully functional for your enjoyment.

- Use is entirely at your own risk.
- Individuals with medical conditions (including heart disease, high blood pressure, or pregnancy) should consult a doctor before use.
- Do not use the hot tub alone or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that cause drowsiness.
- No children under 14 allowed without direct adult supervision.
- Limit soaking to 15–20 minutes. Prolonged exposure can be hazardous.
- Do not use during lightning storms or if the water appears unsafe.
- No glass containers near or inside the hot tub.
- By entering and using this hot tub, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with its use.
OWNER ASSUMES NO LIABILITY.
By booking this property, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
• No lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool and/or hot tub is at your own risk.
• Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• No diving, running, rough play, or glass containers in or around the pool/hot tub area.
• Do not use the pool or hot tub if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Please replace the pool/hot tub cover after each use to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Guests assume all responsibility and liability for the use of the pool and hot tub. The host and property owner are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur on the premises.
By confirming this reservation, you and your guests agree to comply with these rules and accept all associated risks.
