It's our third year in a row with our kids and grandkids. Everyone always looks forward to our wonderful "second" home. Hosts are great! We just love this place and are building tremendous family memories.

This was our third family vacation here and we once again enjoyed every moment! Swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing catch in the yard, game nights, movie nights, the smell of the grill, big breakfasts together, and the beautiful views all around. It’s the perfect place for our family of six and two dogs.

Great stay for the outdoor enthusiasts that just want to enjoy the clear water. It's also super close to the dinosaur museum and chocolate factory. Great bird watching to be had from the gazebo and docks.

We enjoyed our week on the lake. We went kayaking, swimming, fishing, visited the farmer's market, drove to Shipshewana for the day and enjoyed the amazing 4th of July fireworks on the lake. Thanks for letting helping our enjoy a week of freedom!

We loved our stay at The Chain! The location, cabin, and amenities fit our family of 10 perfectly. All of our kiddos had a fun place to sleep and they spent hours each day fishing. We were able to go on family kayak rides, fitting all 10 of us on the 5 kayaks provided. We loved watching the swan family on the lake! The reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the general lack of complete cleanliness and appearance. There were cobwebs everywhere outside and the landscaping was overgrown and unkempt - which was a nuisance when going to and from the dock. Several outlets did not have covers and there were broken shelves/trim/floorboards throughout the home that weren't necessary dangerous, but also not shown in pictures or disclosed which makes it feel a bit deceiving. Simple fixes would really add to the experience and comfort!We will definitely consider coming back here and have already suggested it to other friends!

Stayed here for a Notre Dame game weekend and it was perfect! Beautiful scenery, very relaxing, pictures and description were exactly as listed. Excellent hosts!

Relaxing beautiful stay

The property is beautiful and spacious. There are kayaks, a paddleboat, yard games, fishing, and more! The perfect spot for our family! We love it there!! The host is very accommodating and prompt to answer any questions. A wonderful vacation spot!!

The outdoor amenities offered were perfect for our family. The small kayaks were a hit with all of our grandkids. Very beautiful setting.

Quaint cabin with wonderful lake access and all the amenities needed!!!

Interesting set up in cabin, but it fit all needs. Best set up on the lake with anything needed to enjoy outdoor needs for fun and relaxation!!! Loved our stay!!

Peaceful and Relaxing

The house is at the end of the street surrounded on water on 3 sides..it was very peaceful. The outside area was great. There was a gazebo that we sat under every night and plsyed games. The lake was easy access for kataking.
