This place was perfect and quiet for my husband and I celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The pool is great and we swam every day. Saw deer everyday. Would definitely stay again.

One place to do several activities.

We enjoyed fishing catch and release. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. We enjoyed kayaking. We enjoyed the wildlife, deer and raccoons. It was very peaceful. It had nice kitchen facilities and beds for everyone. It was a nice getaway for our family to take time off and spend time together!

Overall Positive

The property is nice and had a lot of activities to offer. But it also had some issues: we ran out of toilet paper, encountered some pretty dirty remotes, and the checkin process was a bit of a mess (due to VRBO, the property owner was very helpful). I hadn't received any checkin information despite providing the requested information but thought I could handle that at the house, but realized there is no service at the cabin so had to drive about ten minutes back on my route to call the owner and get the codes needed to access the house. There is wifi so once we were inside and connected, we could make outgoing calls. We did get caught in a horrific storm system that resulted in Sulphur being leveled by a tornado. We made it out safely and the owner did check in repeatedly and also allowed us to check out late since we were up until after midnight huddled in the middle hallway downstairs due to tornados. As always, I'm put off by how much is required of a "guest" at checkout but that is an overall VRBO/house renting issue and this cabin has less lengthy requirements than others. This is an especially family friendly property with tons of activities and tvs. The backyard also has some great trees for hammocks. Despite its hiccups, I would recommend staying here.

Best Vrbo we have been

Location great, Host great, house was clean and perfect. Near the lake, near Walmart for everything you need. We loved it and wished we could stay few more days. Everything you need and more, beds are comfy. showers are clean. TV and even PS3 which was fun to get some old memories. Great Wifi. Absolutely recommend. Thank you for having us, We will certainly come back.

Girl’s Trip

Wonderful house. The place had enough room and space for five ladies to sleep comfortably. The outside space (where we spent most of our time) is one of the best! If we go back to Sulphur, this is where we all want to be again. The host was quickly responsive to messages before and during our stay.

Couples’ weekend

We had the best time during our stay. The setting was lovely. The house was outfitted with everything we could need and more. The beds were comfy, the view was tranquil, and we enjoyed fire pit. The Chickasaw National Park didn’t disappoint and the shops and restaurants in Sulphur and Davis were a lot of fun and yummy. We will certainly be back.

Relaxing vacation

My family and I truly enjoyed our time at this property. The house was very clean and cozy. This is the first vacation rental in years where I felt like I could just enjoy the property without having to clean/wipe surfaces before unpacking. I feel the owner went above and beyond the normal to ensure we had everything we could need (all the little things usually not provided) and even checked in multiple times during our stay to ensure we were doing OK. The "little things" mentioned above were unexpected but truly appreciated (extra paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper in both bathrooms, dishwasher and laundry pods/tablets) They even provided pool towels for us to use. My family and I enjoyed taking the kayaks and paddle-board out on the lake/body of water that's located right behind the house. The pool was clean/clear and a great way to keep cool. We loved having the firepit in the back yard. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a relaxing, clean, cozy place to vacation. The only "issue" we had (not a true issues, because I'm sure it was user error) was that my son and I couldn't figure out how to get the gaming systems in the loft area to turn on, Again, this was most likely a user error and should not reflect poorly on the property. We truly enjoyed our vacation! I recommend checking out the Arbuckle Wilderness (drive-thru zoo) if you book this rental or you're in the area.
