Family Christmas 2023

We loved the Grey Bear Lodge. It was beautiful , well stocked, great location, and fit our family of 11 perfectly. We had 6 adults and 5 children. The kids loved having their own space. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Angel Fire. Best Christmas Ever!!

Perfect Angel Fire Property with Great Views!

We loved the place as the house and property are beautiful. The property was very clean and comfortable and was exceptionally well stocked. We had six young skiers (ages 4 through 9) and four adult skiers so being only 8 minutes to the lifts was convenient. Barb was great and very helpful. Highly recommend as we’ll definitely rebook.

Beautiful vacation home

This is the perfect vacation home, not only is it beautiful but it has everything you need to be comfortable. We had a group of 11 people and there was more than enough room, I would highly recommend this vacation home. Thanks Barb for helping provide our group with wonderful vacation memories

Looking for Winter

Our kids prefer taking vacation together, rather than Christmas gifts now that they're adults. Usually we do a summer trip for a variety of activities. This year they wanted to try winter. I was hoping to ski, but they just wanted a warm and cozy place to be together and play games. GreyBear Lodge was perfect for us. It offered the exact accommodations we needed (3 masters and a bunk) with easy access. It was also close enough to town to quickly get to the store, but remote enough that we didn't see anyone else the entire week. The kids were the first to get to the house and were blown away by it. It far exceeded their expectations, and ours as well. I wanted to bring the kitchen home with me! It truly was a lovely time together in a lovely home.

Fantastic Weekend in Angel Fire!

We can’t say enough about our trip to Angel Fire! Skiing was Incredible! We were cozy and warm in the cabin, even though the temps hit -31 one morning!! Enough room for three couples to spread out, but we hung out together playing Catan and making great memories. These owners truly have a gift for hospitality, and we loved our stay!

Christmas 2022

We had a wonderful Christmas in this fabulous house. It was perfect for our family with the 3 bedrooms that all had king size beds and their own bathrooms. Everyone had a wonderful time feeding the deer and watching all of the wildlife. It was just perfect for us. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing Cabin!!!

This cabin has it all! Gorgeous fully stocked kitchen, separate living spaces to spread out, ample ski storage just to name a few of the great things about this home! They even provided us with a garage door opener! It truly felt like home!

Amazing house for a week in the mountains.

We saw elk and deer and Turkey almost everyday. Cozy and well appointed house, had everything we could possibly need.

Gorgeous, large cabin!

Our family enjoyed every aspect of this beautiful cabin. Extensive amenities, large rooms, dream kitchen, comfy beds/furniture. Aspens surround property. Deer visit daily! Lots of games, books, tvs….everything you could ever want in a mountain getaway! Property manager easily accessed & wonderfully helpful with specific requests! We can’t wait for our next visit!

Four old friends traveled from Albuquerque to shop, eat and enjoy our time around the Enchanted Circle. The house was beautiful. It offered so much space we could all have privacy. Very well equipped and we would absolutely recommend the property..

A Breathe of Fresh Air

My family and I (2 adults, and 2 children) got evacuated from our home in Rociada, NM due to the wildfires. We found this VRBO and it was the first time in weeks we could enjoy ourselves. It was absolutely beautiful, well-kept, spacious, great backyard, amazing kitchen, and had every amenity you could need. We were so blessed to find this and have Barb as the property manager. She was so responsive and kind. This place has amazing views and Aspen trees all around. The upstairs balcony in the morning is the perfect coffee spot. There is no doubt this is the perfect home to rent for a vacation, no matter what season. Thank you to the homeowners who made this place so cozy and available to guests. You gave us hope in a a time of sorrow. We truly appreciate your hospitality.
