Cute 3 bedroom lake cottage. The cottage is fully furnished with furniture, appliances, and decor. The home is a 1 minute walk to the small private neighborhood beach, lake front park and fishing pier. Situated in the historic Rye Beach neighborhood, you are only 10-15 minutes from cedar point, 10 minutes to Nickel Plate Beach, 15 minutes to Kalahari, 15 minutes to the island ferry, 5 minutes from great shopping, dining, state nature preserves and more!

As advertised.

Listing presented the premises truthfully. Owner was timely in their responses. Sole complaint would be that a shovel and/or salt would have been beneficial for clearing the back deck & steps of snow/ice.

Quick getaway/ cedar point halloweekend

Very nice! Cottage looks exactly pictured and clean. Close to cedar point! Host was easy to reach and friendly . We really enjoyed our stay!

Exactly as photos depicted

The house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed swimming, fishing and playing on playground @ Rye Beach.

Cozy location, cozy cottage

The cottage is in a great location, especially for parents with children. A short walk to the private beach and park. A short drive to beautiful Nickel Plate Beach. The cottage had all the essentials and plenty of space. Our kids especially loved the bedroom TVs!

Holiday Heaven

We were there for the week of July 4. The house was perfect for our 2 families and 5 tween/teen kids! The location is convenient to so many activities. We could even see the Cedar Point fireworks from the neighborhood!

Girls trip for Mom’s 70th birthday

The cottage is very nice, clean and roomy! The beach was a short walk away, with a small playground for kids. Our overnight stay was perfect besides having trouble with the automatic lock on the door. It is difficult to get the door and lock to align and took more time than it should.

Nice stay

We enjoyed the home and area with the neighborhood beach. I only wished there was a bigger yard for the boys to play and us to visit outdoors. We had a little trouble checking in since the code did not work, but the host quickly resolved the problem. It was an easy drive from anywhere we went. I was a little disappointed in the “lake view” from the house, since it was really just a channel with boat slips and private (we weren’t even allowed on the grass near the water). It was a beautiful view at Rye Beach, down the road. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great Community

The Cozy Cottage was just that, so cozy and super adorable! Well appointed with everything you might need. The Rye Beach neighborhood is very friendly and comfortable. Great for walking or just hanging out on the porch. We all had a great stay!

Comfortable Cottage with View

Nice property

We got in late and only stayed one night so did not make it to the private beach and can't comment on that. But we did go on a stroll. The neighborhood was decent and quiet at night and we got a glimpse of Lake Eerie. Comfy beds, nice A/C, and good working Keurig coffee maker with K-cups provided. Scott was a friendly host and even made a special trip out to bring us a key when we had trouble with the lock keypad. Apparently it just needed to be wiped clean of fingerprints. Overall great stay!

Awesome stay

Very clean and everything you need for a short stay. Nice little deck on the back with a view. Very walkable neighborhood and convenient to everything. Plenty of room for the the 4 of us.

Cute and Cozy

Cute cottage near the lake

This was a nice house, it was clean and matched the pictures. There was parking on the property, our two cars fit fine. The beds were comfortable. There were 3 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor. Communication with the owner was easy, they responded to all my questions in a timely manner. Great experience overall.
