Updated home is a short walk to the lake, marinas and popular local haunts. Upstairs contains a master with bathroom and balcony in addition to 2 other bedrooms
Downstairs has large bedroom with sleeping for 4. Remaining downstairs boasts open floor plan with kitchen opening into large living space. There is also a 3 season room which allows for additional entertaining. The surrounding glass doors can also be opened to catch the cool breeze if desired

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was neat and tidy and each room was well-appointed. This home is very comfortable and the host has thought of everything to make our stay great. The host was very prompt returning my call when I had a question for her. We will stay here again.

House was very clean and very well stocked, including little baskets of toiletries and snacks. Most homes provide a coffee maker, which this house did, but they also provided coffee and creamer. Plenty of towels. We did not use any cooking utensils, but there appeared to ample cooking supplies if needed. There was actually an extra bed in the home that was not listed in the description. Bedrooms and living areas had plenty of furniture. The owner was very good in communicating via messages through the VRBO site. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Marblehead area.

Great stay

Host was very responsive. Great value and a wonderful home. Very spacious, clean and in a quiet location. Great location for visits to CedarPoint and the islands. Will book again when we come back to the area.

We enjoyed our stay with our family of 9. Accommodations were perfect. Very welcoming atmosphere, felt like we were at home. Would book again. Only a short drive to Cedar Point. Would book again.

I was born and raised in Marblehead and continued to work in Marblehead and Port Clinton until 2018 when my husband and I moved to Van Buren Ohio to be closer to our 3 grown children and granddaughter Lizzy. Lakeside, Marblehead and the Islands have been a huge part of our lives for 4 generations. We still enjoy all the area has to offer and are thrilled to be able to share our home with others as they visit the peninsula as well.

My parents bought this house in 1963 when it was a 2-bedroom cottage. Through the years this house went through many changes and was home to those who needed it and remained my parents home for many years . Didi and papa’s house, as my children call it, is a place where memories are made and continues to be that home away from home while enjoying the many activities of the north coast.
