Laurel is also home of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art which was Mississippi's first fine art museum. Take a tour and learn all about what made and still makes Laurel such a neat little town. You’ll love sitting on the porch enjoying a hot cup of coffee to start your day!

We had an awesome experience! Location was great. House was perfect. Fenced in backyard was amazing for our pugs. We had a simple check in and check out. This place is charming and we would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Clean, perfect Cottage

My best friend and I came to Laurel for five days and this house was perfect for us. Very clean, well stocked, great location. I would warn anyone with a very large vehicle that parking may be difficult as it’s in back down the alley and there’s fences everywhere. It’s tight backing in or out. We had a full size SUV. Gave 4 stars for check in process only because we had the wrong code, which was made right by the owner. Would definitely stay again and hope to very soon!

Love the property, had some trouble the half bath. Called Landlord and she sent a wonderful friend over to make the repair. Yard was great for dogs.

Perfect, just perfect

My wife and my sister wanted to make the pilgrimage to Laurel to see all things Ben and Erin. My brother-in-law and I tagged along. The description of this property sounded just like what we wanted and we were not disappointed in the least. The house is very close to everything we wanted to experience. It was immaculate and surprisingly roomy for a house of its age. The owners had taken the time to go around the house with a label maker and tag all of the light switches and numerous other items in the house. We felt perfectly safe in the house.

Left 2 days early

Already communicated to Host, I couldn’t stand the lack of safety or filth. Back yard easy access to alley, found the gate left wide open one morning. Back door barely locked, with slide latch like you find in gas station bathroom, and no deadbolt or weather stripping. Superficially pretty, wonderful fenced backyard. Checked out two days early and on my way home by 8:30AM. Nice start, but needs time. Have no idea where the 5* ratings came from!

Everything was perfect. The location of the house to downtown, had all the amenities to make you comfortable, and bonus was the fenced yard for our dog. Would recommend this property to others.

Laurel visit

Nice cozy house. Everything is there you could possibly want. Love the fenced backyard for the dog and mornings on the front porch with coffee. Don’t miss Blue Crab for dinner, Scotsman, Scents and Mercantile for fun shopping. We enjoyed Peddlers Junction Antique mall for tons of interesting items. A very nice stay overall, should have made it longer.

Very disappointed

We were looking so forward to our stay but unfortunately when we arrived at 6:30 at night the house had not been cleaned from last guest. It tools us until after 8:00pm to get a hold of someone by this time we were at the Hampton Inn. The owner refunded us for the whole stay which was great but overall very disappointing experience for our trip to Laurel Mississippi.

TN Girls come to Laurel!

We loved staying in this house!! It's adorable, clean, cozy, all the things! This was our second summer girls trip to Laurel and it was a GREAT experience again. I highly recommend staying here and visiting Laurel and Hattiesburg.

“Home Town” experience

My brother and I grew up in Ellisville. We wanted to see all the changes that Laurel has experienced due to the “Home Town” show which we are avid fans of. We were very impressed with all the changes.

Hometown Girls Trip

My daughter, granddaughter and I came to Laurel for a girls trip. My granddaughter wanted to see the town and shop. The location of the cottage was good and we never had to leave the downtown area. We enjoyed the restaurants and shopping. Overall we had a great trip. The cottage was okay. Our first impression was not great. When we arrived the temperature inside was 86. It was a hot and humid day and after unloading we needed a spot to cool off . Luckily we arrived around 4 and could lower the thermostat temp but it took the house until bedtime to get to a comfortable temp to sleep. The alley was hard to find and manuver. We felt a little unsafe with the back door and front door not having deadbolts. The description says the cottage is newly renovated. However, we found the details lacking. There was a broken blind in the Laurel bedroom and the vanity in full bath had a door broken. I realize I may be somewhat picky as I have short term rentals of my own of which I have renovated and I am very detail oriented. I know how important reviews are and hardly ever write a poor review. However, in this case I felt the need.
