This spectacular condo is located in the heart of West Maui at the prestigious Honua Kai Resort. It is an ideal place to watch sunsets with your loved ones on the wrap-around shared lanai and experience the meaning of paradise! This beautiful 1320 sf condo features gorgeous furniture pieces and wood-like tile flooring throughout. The kitchen is fully appointed and has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The oversized, undivided lanai features spectacular glass doors for you to look out onto the beautiful view from the living room. Both bedrooms have comfortable king size beds and, with the addition of a king size sofa bed, it sleeps up to 6 guests. The condo includes two bathrooms, a washer & dryer, free wi-fi and parking. This exquisitely unique indoor/outdoor setting is truly Honua Kai “at its best”.

Prime, upscale location offers a vast variety of amazing things to do and experience on Maui. There are 5 star restaurants, championship golfing, luxury shopping, world class white sand beaches, and crystal blue water as far as the eye can see.

Honua Kai resort has 3 acres of swimming pools (with water slide), 5 hot tubs, a fitness center, spa and additional pool and hot tubs at the new Luana Villas (on the property). The resort also features Aina Gourmet Market and Duke's Restaurant, - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Resort fee is $75
NO SMOKING IN CONDO OR ON THE LANAI. The state of Hawaii has a strict no smoking ordinance. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Fines and extra cleaning fees for violating this rule is strictly enforced.

Amazing Maui Vacay!

We had the most wonderful time. The condo was incredible! Super clean and exactly what we were hoping for. The views from the lanai were spectacular and we spent many mornings enjoying the view as we ate breakfast, and many nights watching the skyline as the sun set. The staff was great! Responding quickly to all of our needs and questions. Couldn’t have been more helpful. We will most definitely return and will stay here again.

Great location, beautiful property

First time to Maui and this property was amazing. We visited with another couple and the condo was perfect for us. Beds are comfortable, as is all the furniture. Nicely decorated and the lanai was perfect. Quick walk to the beach and pools. Duke's has great food and the bar staff was excellent. We had a massage at the spa and again, great staff and services. Super easy check-in and out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation home was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. It was just a short walk to the pool where we swam most of the day and Duke's where we went for a couple meals during our 5 night stay. After reading reviews we made reservations prior to our stay. The unit itself was clean and we had no issues during out stay. We found that it was cool enough in the evening to turn off the AC. We cooked several meals (mostly breakfast) in our unit (Costco haul) and once at the outdoor grill. It is a short walk to the food truck park and a larger grocery store and if you have children, Slappy Cakes was a huge hit. My husband ran the boardwalk every morning and saw dolphins. We saw several rainbows from our lanai. Just a short walk to the beach. The list goes on! This was our second stay at Hona Kai and I doubt it will be our last.

Beautiful room with large Lanai!

We absolutely loved our stay. We were nervous about the shared Lanai but it absolutely is not an issue. Just gives you so much extra space. Family of 5 stayed comfortably and are already planning to book again in the future. Dayna at Epic was so helpful extending our stay and bringing us a new cooler when the one in the room was broken. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Nice spot to getaway

Great space. We had enough room to lounge both inside and outside on the wrap around balcony. The little extras made the difference, when we went off to explore. Chairs, cooler, umbrella, and a skim board...

This was an incredible condo for two couples or a family. Lovely living area that opened into a very large outdoor patio. Great for outdoor dinners and hanging out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Summer family of 5 trip

We enjoyed bonus maintain and this unit was great. The huge lanai is the best part. Having the longer chairs and high table to watch the sunset was great.

Fabulous!!

Great property! Even better than expected from the listing! Amazing sunsets and beautiful landscaping. Being able to get drinks and food from Dukes was a big plus. We had an issue with our washing machine and property manager was very attentive and it was fixed promptly. We would absolutely go back!!

A great property with awesome space!!

We were very happy with the space and amenities offered at this property! We were a bit apprehensive about the "shared lanai," but while it may not offer the privacy other units might have, it worked well for us. If you don't like soft beds, this might not be the place for you. Probably the softest bed I've ever slept on. Loved the folding doors to open up to the lanai! Also, great privacy inside with bedrooms on opposite ends of unit with very few shared walls.

Loved everything about this condo! It was just as beautiful as the photos looked online. The beds were incredibly comfortable!!! Had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook with! Would highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a family vacation

The property and condo were great. Spacious living areas and bedrooms. Stocked with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Pool and amenities were fantastic, particularly for families with you kids. The huge terrace was a fantastic place for morning coffee or dinner. Would definitely recommend.

We’re coming back baby!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! This truly is a hidden gem and my family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the spacious room to the unbelievably gorgeous views. Highly recommend and we definitely plan on booking our next stay here again. The only tiny thing we noticed was the dryer took several cycles to dry clothes completely but far from a deal breaker. Wonderful

This room is wonderful. The resort is amazing, everything within walking distance and convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. We loved the short walk to beach,pools and coffee. The beach chairs and other items were great to have. Communication was fast when issues arised (minor fixes) & the maintenance team was quick and friendly. If I had anything bad to say it would be the cost of eating out. Very expensive at the resort, I’d recommend a Costco trip before arrival. We did find some good eateries plus food trucks close by though. I would highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again!

Epic Realty Is Wonderful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time while staying at the condo. Everyone that works at the resort is so nice and ready to answer any questions you may have. They are always smiling. The one pool that we were at every day has a water slide and everyone loved. We had a few little things wrong with condo but Epic Raelty answered our call and fixed problem within an hour. They were amazing. I would give them 5 stars. I also have to mention the beds were so comfortable. The view amazing every night . The only thing I could find a little bit off would be some of the furniture is a bit worn looking .

Fantastic resort and unit!

We stayed in Honua Kai 215 the first week of June. We've stayed at countles VRBO rentals over the years and this is one of just a few that exceeded the description and pictures on the listing. Both the resort and the unit exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again without second thought. Our kids loved the pool and snorkeling from the beach on the property. A couple points to note: 1) Having read some of the other less positive reviews I was a little anxious about the painting project on the property, and the shared lanai. However, neither was an issue. Other than the equipment in the courtyard it was barely noticeable. I wouldn't be surprised if the work on the Hokulani tower is done by now. It seemed very close when we were there and was isolated to the front of the tower nearest the pool. We did not have issues with workers using the shared lanai for our unit and never had issue with any other guest attempting to use the space. The shared lanai is no less private than sitting on one of the private lanais separated by a glass wall and 15 ft of open space, in my opinion. 2) The wifi name and password was different than what was shared in our check-in information. The current name and password can be found on the back of the router next to the TV in the living room. Had I not recently updated the equipment for our own Internet service at home I might not have known where to look. All in all we had an amazing time and hope to return again sometime in the future!

False Advertising & Difficult to Deal with

1. Private Lanai was not Private. This unit was listed as having a large private lanai. VRBO listing clearly stated that this unit has one of the largest private lanai's on the property. It was not private and was actually shared with many other units & has a door to the main building meaning anyone could enter your space. 2. Door lock to the shared Lanai was broken. The door from the unit to the Lanai had a broken lock. We reported this & during our two-week stay, no one came to fix it. It was especially problematic given the shared lanai Others have mentioned this issue in reviews. 3. Uncommunicated Construction. We reserved this unit in April 2022 for a trip in March 2023. We were never warned that we would be unable to use our lanai during our 2-week trip due to construction, the lanai was filthy, there was a constant stream of construction crews using our it as their main pathway from the hotel to the construction happening on the outside of the building. We had zero privacy. Having travelled from Vancouver it was highly disappointing to not being able to enjoy any outdoor dining/relaxing from our unit after having specifically booked this unit due to what was marketed as a "large private lanai". My 16 month old son fell b/c of the sticky residue from the construction crews. 4. Lack of action from the Property Manager. It took 4 wks of fighting to receive any financial compensation due to our issues. I would not book with this Property Manager/unit again.

Amazing condo at a gorgeous resort

We love Honua Kai and have rented plenty of stays here before. This time we opt for something bigger for both grandmas to enjoy with us and boy were we taken back by the well pointed huge. The condo was pretty huge and an enormous balcony (views of both pool and water). Very clean, lots of seating areas and wonderful beachy decor. The receptiveness of the customer service was very much appreciated. Even left us some snacks upon our arrival. We will definitely be referring to friends and staying here again, if available.
