Awesome Cabin!

This was probably the cleanest cabin we ever rented. It had a great view and was convenient to everything: Tsali, Asheville, Sylva, etc. The only negative thing was the furniture. The mattress was 'dippy' and probably needs to be replaced, and we didn't find the downstairs sofa to be comfortable when watching TV. Minor stuff, the rest was fabulous!

Beautiful Cabin- Perfect Place to Unwind

We visited here for a long weekend to relax and spend time together. Mission accomplished. Cabin is very clean and organized. Excellent location- convenient to Cherokee which we visit frequently for the casino, close to Sylva (great Creekside Oysters and bowling), and not too far from Bryson City. This is right in the middle of it all with short drives to each. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night, very serene atmosphere. Be cautious about driveway- even with just leaves on it during our visit, we had a little difficulty in our SUV- but we made it. I can't imagine what it's like in the snow, but this would be the best place to be snowed in. Really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Great mini vacay

Great mini vacay! The cabin was perfect for us -- very clean and well appointed, good location and Great Smokys management company was amazing. They were very responsive and always available if we had any questions prior to our arrival. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Great cabin, great location. Very clean. Easy access, all paved roads. Host has thought of everything! I would certainly recommend and not hesitate to come back!

Get away

We arrived to the property a little after dark. Directions were good, but they do need to express how steep the driveway is. If you’re in a small car, it would not be an issue. But being in a full-size truck, you have to do a two or three point turn. The property was extremely clean. The beds were not the most comfortable, due to them having dips in them. And bring your own hangers because they do not supply any hangers in the closets. The only cooking we did at the cabin was breakfast, but I will say the kitchen was not supplied like some of the other VCBO that we have stayed at before. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. It is a beautiful view from the living room. I do wish the sofa would have had recliners, it would have been much more relaxing. It was very cold during our visit so we did not get to enjoy the front porch rockers. All in all it was a nice place.

Winter Birthday Cabin Fever

This space was absolutely perfect! It suits the needs of virtually any group; whether your plan is to stay in and unplug OR you hope to have a fun/cozy space to lay your head in between adventures. We went into town and tried the food/beverage suggestions listed in the binder, took the quick trip to the Casino, and enjoyed the fireplace during our new tradition of family/friends game night. The hot tub was an added plus and the fire pit made s'mores an easy and fun vibe. You won't regret booking!

Wonderful stay at Bear Cove Cabin!

My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at Bear Cove Cabin! The cabin was very welcoming, warm and cozy, super clean, perfect size, well equipped with kitchen utensils/pots/pans. The location was perfect and very convenient to surrounding towns. The property management company was professional and so easy to work with!! We would love to go back and the future and stay here again!!

Fantastic Stay

We went on a cold and rainy weekend and still had an amazing time. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Incredible views. Cabin was amazing and clean. Comfortable beds, hot showers, and a cozy fireplace. Close proximity to great restaurants, shops and a few local breweries. We will definitely be back.

Clean cabin close to town

If you’re looking for a clean, well maintained cabin near town, this is it! Cabin provided all the necessities but if you need something, you’re not far from stores and restaurants. Be sure to check out the local breweries. The rain stopped us from enjoying the fire pit, but were still able to enjoy the hot tub.
