This wonderful house is our personal cottage, where even we enjoy staying when it is not rented for 2 weeks a year, It is part of a large estate that is also home to our other vacation rental; the Master House (#251371). Both are vacation rental homes for 2,1 week periods, perfect for both summer getaways and off-season holidays. (Remember we only rent 2 weeks a year.) One could easily believe that they have not only found the best vacation rental that money can buy but also their own personal resort that is worth every penny!
The Cottage is ready and waiting for you and your family to make the memories of a lifetime. You will find so much to do that you won't ever want to leave! Hang out on our own personal sandy-beach, soak up the sun, take a nap in the hammock, or lay out on the large floating island. Watch all the boats skiers and plane fly by and take in all the great Michigan wildlife that surrounds you. Watch your kids have a blast with all the beach toys while they are smiling ear to ear.
Fish from the dock where the fish come to you, or with the fishing boat and let the trolling motor bring you to the fish. Go on adventures with the 9 kayaks, 3 stand up paddle boards, or the state of the art steeper board or even the huge swan paddle boat! In the evenings, build a fire in the firepit or have a cookout on the patio. Rain? No problem! We have board games, game rooms, a tanning bed, a workout area, televisions in every room, and fast internet! Need a nap? Wrap yourself up in 100% Egyptian cotton bedding and wake up still in paradise. Hungry? Why leave! We a full kitchen, a gas grill, and grocery stores nearby. If you really must get out of the house, you are within 10 minutes of quaint downtown Grand Haven (Coast Guard City USA!) which offers a wide variety of shopping needs & wants, parks, sights, and eateries. Check out the world largest musical fountain and all the historic buildings or take a stroll down the pier and enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan.
We do our best to make sure that you have everything you could possibly need for your vacation. All you need to bring is a few toiletries and then take a trip or two to the grocery store. We have bikes, bike helmets, and strollers. We have yard games, propane for the grills, wood for the firepit, and coolers for the beach. There is a large yard, patio with enough space for the entire family outside. The sleeping arrangements will also be comfortable and spacious on the inside. We trust that your stay will be an absolute pleasure and we implore you to try and find anything we have missed!
