Excellent stay

Our employees were there for a short time but thouroughly enjoyed their stay. Meliss was very responsive and flexible and nice to talk to. We fully recommend Meliss' property. Thank you!

Good stay.

The house is quirky, like most older homes, but comfortable. It suited our needs and the neighborhood was quiet. We had everything thing we needed, lots of fluffy towels. Two bathrooms were a plus. The yard needs a little TLC and the furniture could have been a little more comfortable. No frills but good.

Nice stay!

This was our 2nd year at this property and we were very pleased. The host, Meliss, is very quick to respond to any issues that arise. She has been upgrading the house since she purchased it and we noticed some great improvements to the house between this year and last. It has a really big back yard and a huge screen porch where we spent all our time. The best thing about the house is the location! While the neighborhood is fine and seems to be going through a positive transition, the house is literally a 5 minute drive to the beach and several great restaurants. It is also easy access to the highway, and there are grocery stores and pharmacies within minutes. It also provided easy access to things we wanted to do in Delray, West Palm and even Ft. Lauderdale. I would definitely recommend it to couples and families looking for a good home base for a great southern Florida vacation.

Perfect vacation home!

This house was very spacious and clean. You couldn't ask for a better location either! We would go out and explore, hop back on the interstate, and be right there. The owner was quick to respond and very friendly. It is beautifully decorated and made us feel right at home. We absolutely loved the large kitchen table for us to dine as a family. The hot tub was a nice surprise. The kids loved spending the evenings in it. The living room furniture was so comfortable! Now I want leather furniture for home! The beds were also super comfy, but could definitely benefit from nicer pillows. The ones on our bed were the kind that you have to put two or three together to equal one. The only down side was that the listing itself says 3 bedrooms. However, when you scroll down to the details, it says 4 bedrooms. We specifically booked this house so each of our children would have their own rooms. Unfortunately, it was only 3 bedrooms. But honestly, it was spacious enough that it wasnt too big of a deal. Overall, this is a beautiful home that we would definitely stay at again. Thank you for having us.

Thank you for staying and let letting me know that it says somewhere 4 bedrooms that is a mistake although at a time the extra room in the back before the patio and bedding in that area as well. I'm so glad you stayed and enjoyed your stay !

Three month stay

Hosts were responsive, house was clean and well equipped. Neighborhood safe and quiet, and walkable. With that said the stay had some negatives unfortunately. First night we had mice on the counter eating the food we had just purchased. Hosts had exterminator come. The electric stove very old with coils on stove top that were so warped unable to cook properly. And refrigerator leaked from freezer into main compartment. I needed to put a bowl in refrigerator area. Hosts did order new refrigerator and stove. Next our hot water was turned off. We initially thought it was an electrical issue. But after host informed us that we had a propane tank for hot water. When propane company came out we were told it was shut off for nonpayment. Host said it was an auto-payment error. Lastly our water was turned off because water company said it was shut off for non-payment; host said it was auto-payment error. Maybe because all these issues have been addressed you will have an uneventful stay. We did stay for the scheduled 3 months because we were unable to schedule a stay at another location close to my grandchildren with my two dogs and also the hosts are very responsive and extremely nice.

Thank you for your response and your stay . The oven and refrigerator have been replaced and dishwasher . The mice made there way through a vent that was sealed during your stay and we have not seen since . It was unfortunate that it happened during your stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The air conditioning did not work for the entire three-night stay, leaving the house around 85 degrees each night and making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep.After the first night, I contacted management and was told someone would come out to fix it. When we returned later that day, nothing had been done. Only after I followed up did they tell me they were unable to get someone out. They promised someone would come the next day, but that never happened either, and no one contacted us with an update.The second toilet also did not work during our entire stay. We tried the troubleshooting steps management suggested, but it remained unusable. In addition, there was no hot water throughout our stay.Management eventually provided a 50% refund, which we appreciated, but none of these issues were resolved while we were there. Spending three nights without air conditioning, hot water, and a functioning second toilet significantly impacted our vacation. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property.
