Beautifully appointed mountain 'home away from home' with all of the amenities desired for a wonderful and relaxing mountain vacation. This house accommodates 6 adults and 4 children comfortably with an additional 'bunk room' for the kids. Two
bathroom with tubs + a bathroom in the bunk room complete with shower. 2 wood burning fireplaces and a large entertaining dining room. Located on a large property with a creek running in front of the house. 3 night minimum stay required.

This is the perfect ski weekend getaway home for you and your family and friends.

Pond hockey tournament

A great place to chill before and after our games. Plenty of space, games, and bathrooms. All questions were answered quickly.

Great for the whole family

My family has stayed here twice now and it's great! The house is well stocked with anything you might need. There's plenty of room for the whole family. The play room and outside playground mean the kiddos are entertained. The adults love the wood-burning fireplace. Less than 5 minutes from downtown. The heat is a little finnicky but we brought layers to sleep in and were fine. Phyllis is a great host!

Great stay as always

We have rented this property 5 or 6 times. Owner is great to work with and we always enjoy or stay. House is spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

A home away from home

We were overcome with emotion as we entered this cozy, well lived in and loved cabin! It reminded us so much of our own home, and Phyllis made us feel so welcomed!Our six grandchildren stayed in the bunk room upstairs, while all of the adults spread out in the downstairs – plenty of room!We are family who loves to cook, so the well laid out kitchen with many staples was so appreciated! We ate all our dinners at the amazing dining room table, which we could all sit around! The quaint town of Idaho Springs was a hit with all of us, and when we weren’t skiing, we were exploring the shops and restaurants in this special place. This home was located about 30 minutes from Loveland ski resort in just a mile from downtown Idaho Springs. Great location! Phyllis was so quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had and really made us feel so comfortable in her family home. We would highly recommend this charming place for wonderful family togetherness!.

The place is awesome. We had 4 couples and it was so nice and roomy. And in a great location, very easy to get to. Highly recommend staying there.

True feeling of Colorado

Great place. Plenty of space for 8 people. The rustic feel was excellent and location was perfect! It was very well equipped with anything you may need. Will definitely go again!

Great Long Weekend Getaway

Great spot for a long weekend in the mountains. Plenty of room for six adults. Awesome front patio with the babbling brook in the front yard. Very close to everything in the Idaho Springs downtown area. Not too long of drive from great hikes and other outdoor activities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous Stay

We loved the house! It was so cozy, yet had plenty of room to spread out. The location was convenient for all the activities we had planned. Would definitely return on our next trip to Colorado!

Beautiful mountain home

Our stay was wonderful! The house was clean and spaceous. The creek running through the property is so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

Wonderful Home for Families

We were in Idaho Springs for a wedding. This home was convenient to the venue and town. It is a perfect home for extended family, especially if there are children! The toy room and TV/ game room were great for the kids. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. It is a great family house! Everyone enjoyed their time there. Phyllis was very responsive to inquiries before annd after the stay. Everything was so well communicated we never had to contact her during the stay! Beautiful home, great location!

Winter in gorgeous house!

We were skiing in Loveland Ski Area, location of this cabin was perfect. The cabin itself was impeccably designed, blending modern comforts with rustic aesthetics seamlessly. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations. The cabin was spacious, we felt like at home. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to whip up delicious meals, which we enjoyed. In conclusion, our stay at this beautiful cabin was nothing short of magical.

Perfect stay for the whole family

This is a wonderful stay for the whole family! The kiddos loved the treehouse and swing set outside and the play room inside. The adults loved the woodburning fireplace and cozy atmosphere. It's a beautiful home -- even better than the pictures. Would stay again!

Warm, welcoming place to come home to

This home could not have been more welcoming. Each bedroom, each room had it’s own personality. Lots of individual touches. It’s design and location made it a very interesting place to come back to at the end of a good day of skiing. Phyllis was great, super accommodating. We’ll be back!

Great location to Downtown & Wedding Venue

Has all you need for a getaway in the mountains, while being close to town and a wedding venue. Large dining room, ample kitchen, 2 car garage + outside parking, separate game/TV room, and large upstairs bunk room made it perfect for our stay. Did not use the rear patio & grill. A nice add would be an outdoor fire pit on front patio overlooking stream where a hose is available (just in case), but understand the hesitancy with fires in this region.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home. Was perfect for our family get together. Even though we didn’t have children thought it was awesome the things they had for a family with children. Location was easy quick trip to town if needed anything. Phyllis was quick to respond when had questions before booking. Will definitely stay here again if come back to the area!!

Great for what we needed

The property owner was very helpful and made the process easy. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. Having the toys and games for the younger kids was great. The reasons for a 4 star and not 5 was the following: 1. the absence of a tv room with comfortable seating, 2. the heating / cooling issue with the different areas, especially the upstairs being so hot, 3. the grass in the playground area needed to be cut down some, and 4. the house is very dark and interior lighting needs to be updated.
