After your group's stay, we are left with significant damage, filth, and disorder. During your time here, we discussed the microwave, which was functioning when you arrived. Upon inspection, we discovered that the microwave door was forced open instead of using the 'open' button, resulting in severe damage that necessitates a full replacement, as you reported on the day it was broken. We also found multiple biohazards, including blood and feces, on the bedding, floor, and bathroom area. In the kitchen, a glass was dropped, leading to a large crack in the tile, and the spilled liquid was not cleaned, leaving a mess on the wall and baseboards. The dryer lint area was misused, similar to the microwave; the lint trap door was pulled instead of slid out, causing a crack. The floors now have deep scratches that were not present before your stay. This situation raises concerns about the presence of responsible adults during your visit, as the level of damage suggests neglect rather than care. In five years of renting our property, we have never encountered such filth and extensive damage left by a guest. It is alarming that four guests could inflict more damage than all the reservations we successfully hosted this summer.

Hello Kelly, We are a 5 star business and take a review like this seriously, unfortunately you never stayed at our wonderful MDV and cancelled the day prior to your stay asking for a refund, but, understood you were out of your time frame to receive the refund. Then once we agreed our policy is the policy and no refund would be given because you were out of the timeframe, you then became very angered with us regarding our policy. We were saddened to see your cancellation a day prior to your visit, and we apologize that we could not provide a refund as you were out of the cancellation policy time frame. We communicated efficiently and effectively regarding this incident with you Kelly, it was not the outcome you wanted. This review is false. We hope after your family gets over the illnesses they are experiencing you could come visit our place. Thank you.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We try to work diligently on any maintenance needs and try to keep up with clogs between bookings. Unfortunately when we have hundreds of guests a year, hair and such gets down the drains and after awhile the main pipes start to drain slow. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and any repairs needed will be worked on shortly. We look forward to seeing you again! MDV

We are saddened you were dissatisfied. There was a mass message sent to all of our reservations regarding any construction being done to keep everyone safe. We went above and beyond to provide service to you as you had requested. Also comparing us to a long standing company that does not provide the same customer service and services is absolutely malicious. This review is to review our property and not put false information. Hotel accommodations will be better for future visits.
