We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with bugs. While they can occasionally appear in mountain and wooded areas it's understandable that in excess they'll be frustrating. Your comments have been shared with our Operations Team and pest control and preventative measures can be taken. Regarding the inconvenience and safety concern related to entering and exiting the hot tub the lack of steps is not just because it on the deck, but it makes it less easy for kids to get into the hot tub by themselves without an adult around. Upon review, we do show the issue was reported to our 24/7 Guest Services Team, who immediately involved our local Operations Team and a licensed pest control vendor. After a thorough inspection, no infestation was found, and the activity observed was determined to be seasonal in nature, which can occur in mountain and wooded areas. Nevertheless, we recognize that this explanation does not lessen the discomfort you experienced, and we regret that you felt unable to remain in the cabin that evening. We also want to confirm that compensation was provided in consideration of the distress caused. Your feedback is invaluable as this helps us to enhance the guest experience.
