It features beach and lake access directly behind the 14 acres upon which it is located and it just minutes from White Bluff Resort and Golf Course. The ranch is decorated in luxurious southern style throughout and has everything you could possibly imagine for the ultimate entertainment both indoors and outdoors. Cedar Creek Ranch is the perfect location for family vacations, reunions and corporate retreats. Brand new pool built in 2023 and new and improved outdoor kitchen in spring 2024.

Another Great Stay

This is now our third year at this property for Christmas and it honestly gets better and better each year! The owners continues to invest in new amenities, pool, outdoor kitchen, furniture, etc. I am afraid to keep pouring on praise for fear we can’t get in next year due to demand!!

Guys fishing weekend

Great place, easy parking for many boats. We had 5. Able to plug them in at night. And less than 10min to a free ramp.

Awesome reunion location

This property offered a great location for our family reunion for 26 people. Very open and roomy house and adjoining guest house were perfect.

house review

The king bed frame in the right bedroom in the 2nd building was broken when we arrived, we were able to fix it enough to use. My son was able to temporarily fix the back door to the main house so it would close properly and not let in flies. There were lots of dead bees in the shuttle board box when we arrived, hopefully they were vacuumed up before the next visitors arrived. There were other areas that needed vacuuming, (under beds, under couch cushions, etc. We were so glad to have the pool. The nicely mowed path to the lake was great! We all loved the large room in the main house. We enjoyed our visit and would consider returning. Betty

Spring family fishing

We fell in love with this property from the moment we opened the doors. It was perfect for our family. We were supposed to go fishing, but mother nature reared her head and it rained. The lodge was amazing with so much space and areas to relax. There was room for all of us to play games together or break off for pool, shuffle board or ping pong. The covered areas outside were a real blessing with the rain we had. We will definitely be returning, and hopefully for longer than a weekend!

Great Family Reunion

This is not a house but a compound. The main building has a good kitchen open to a HUGE common room, shown in the photos but more impressive by far, and a few bedrooms. The two best bedrooms are in an out-building with their own cozy living room/parlor. The common areas were expansive enough for our six family groups to gather when they wanted without all being on top of one another. No photos can do justice to the views from the back porch. There are comfortable beds for a small army, but more than 5-6 couples/small families will find sharing the bathrooms limiting. We can recommend Bar-B-Que Chef's Smokehouse nearby, and the guides for striped bass at Guaranteed Fishing Service have remarkable fishing and people skills - they even clean your catch for you!

Family reunion

It was a great property for our needs. The house was big enough to accommodate us. The pool was a plus for the kids. The dumpster was a bit small for our needs because it was partially full when we got there. Excellent property and great host.

Another Great Stay!

My family just completed our second year at Cedar Creek Ranch and I cannot say enough great things about the property and it's owner. Multiple improvements were made from last year, and we thought last year was fantastic. Too cold to swim in then new pool, but it is beautiful, new outdoor furniture in multiple areas, a new 2 door commercial fridge in the kitchen was awesome and allowed us more than enough space for our 40+ dinner guests. New beds in one of the rooms for a "Kids Bunkhouse" was a hit with the younger group. I have booked a lot of VRBO rentals, the owner of this property is a standout and the most communicative I have ever encountered. Pictures are great, but they dont do the total property justice. See you next Christmas for what is now a family tradition.

Amazing location and setup.

Pros: Amazing location, great amenities, super spacious with warm and friendly host……. Cons: Property needs some serious TLC. Everything in prior reviews holds true so I have to admit, nothing was a shock but having those prior concerns fixed, would have definitely made our experience even better.

Great place for large group to gather

We had 27 in our group and had a wonderful stay. The common area is huge and a wonderful area to be in for everyone. Three large tables and lots of barstools. Also, lots of sitting areas for visiting and the view is wonderful. There needs to be a bathroom for the common area and a larger refrigerator. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Photos do not do justice! Love this place -

We were pleasantly surprised about how large this property and accommodations are. The open area inside main house was large enough for our entire group. Has a detached bunk house, large outdoor kitchen, eating areas, pool etc. Needed more than 2 days to really use all the amenities that were offered. Great views! Love this place!

Family Graduation Weekend

This is the perfect location to host a large gathering and group stay. It's got the club house style set up for the common areas with large multi-bed and multi-shower/toilet bathrooms in three of the bedrooms. This made it easier to double up as guest bathrooms for our celebration with day guests. Very spacious! It accommodated all ages for our group. Other than bringing extra towels and possibly your paper goods, it's all set.

Fantastic Property & Setting

It is very rare that I write reviews, and even more rare that I write one as positive as this one is. My immediate family has grown to 30+ people over 4 generations with my parents being 80 and my great nieces and nephews being toddlers. In the past Christmas had become a one day affair due to the sheer size of our group. This year we rented Cedar Creek Ranch and had the best Christmas in years! The property is outstanding, pictures online do not do the size justice. This is a resort, not a home. The living area, with multiple seating areas, 3 dining areas, a ping pong table, pool table, bar area, and beautiful views of Lake Whitney is likely 3000+ plus square feet...this doesnt include the huge kitchen with bar area and the 4 bedrooms under this roof. Not to mention the adjacent guest house with another living area, small kitchenette, and 2 more bedrooms with multiple sleeping options. The home is immaculately clean, well stocked with kitchen, toiletries, linens, and satellite TVs in many of the rooms. The outside space is equally large and well suited for very large groups. There are 10-12 concrete picnic tables under 2 covered areas, a large bar area, and a huge observation, deck also equipped with table and chairs for watching the sun set over the lake. All of this sits on a large piece of land with ample room for a friendly game of football, hitting a few golf balls from the tee box, or just relaxing and watching multiple generations play and laugh together from the comfort of the covered patio just out the back door of the living space. Couple this great property, with the fantastic owner who is super-responsive and clearly investing in the comfort of their guests, and you cannot go wrong. We have already selected our dates for next year as Cedar Creek Ranch has become a "family tradition" after this weekend!

Christmas Family Gathering

Overall it is a nice place with lots of room to sit inside and has a great outside area for kids to play with access to Lake Whitney. With so many positives there are also some negatives. This is the second year we have stayed there and the facility is beginning to show signs of deterioration. Most of the mattresses on the beds through out the lodging are in serious need of replacement. The bed frame in the first bedroom (back bed) near the front door is in poor condition. The front bedroom has way too much furniture in it. It is also poorly designed - it would be nice to be able to access the back bedroom without having to go through the front bedroom - add a wall in front bedroom so that the back bedroom can be accessed from the outside door. The chairs around the tables are very wobbly and need to be repaired or replaced. Bathrooms were missing either shampoo or shower gel. There was not enough laundry detergent. Some of the bedrooms had fans / lights that did not function. There were no hand towels for the kitchen. A brown recliner in the main lodge needs to be repaired or replaced.

Great owners!

Check in was very easy. The house has 3 huge living spaces that we took full advantage of because we had 25 people in our group. Used the pool table and ping pong table a lot. Great back porch and yard but unfortunately it rained and was cold so didn't get to take advantage of that except the fire pit one night. But did get to see the beautiful sunset. The oven blew out on Sat morning. We contacted the owner and within 30 minutes they were at the house and within an hour they had delivered and installed a new oven. So thankful for that since we were having our family Thanksgiving meal that day. The owners saved the day! Lots of space in each room. Lots of restrooms and showers. The only recommendation would be to bring some of your pots/pans. The ones in the house had seen better days. We would definitely stay here again!
