Overall, really good stay… house was plenty big Kitchen plenty Big!!! couple of issues that we had during the day was taken care of immediately by the host… would stay again!!!

The setting was beautiful and very good for our family. Unfortunately, due to septic issues, we were unable to let the kids/pets into the backyard, couldn't enjoy the fire pit and were without plumbing for a while. This could have been prevented.

White bluff golf outing

The house was very nice with plenty of room inside and a great deck outside. The kitchen was very nice and the overall set up was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This house was amazing. We had plenty of room for all of us. Host was amazing. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Would definitely book again.

Weekend getway

Our stay was great. The property is just as advertised online. It says that it sleeps 20 but there are also cots available on property that can be used. We loved it.

Great place near Lake Whitney

The property is gigantic, unlike a lot of places that advertise room for 20 this place actually has the beds and bathrooms to accommodate a large group. It's also well appointed in our opinion, plenty of linens throughout and kitchen is fully equipped. Hosts are very engaged and quick to reply to questions or offer suggestions.

Great getaway with friends

Even for our mostly adult group the shuffleboard and ping pong got the most use. The house itself has its quirks and all but couldn't picture a better place for a large group to all stay together. Kitchen was great to have plenty of ovens and tables space.

Derek was extremely courteous and helpful. The furniture was all very comfortable and sturdy--obviously not box-store variety! Well stocked kitchen--which we enjoyed tremendously! We had no issues except a little internet issue and Derek took care of us right away. We've been doing this vacation for over 20 years, and this stay was one of my favorites and most relaxing of all. I'd love staying here again if we're headed back this way!--Trish, Texas

The interior of the home was great. The ping pong room, Windows & patios were dirty, spiders everywhere, ash trays & butts. We had a great time & did not let thise issues bother us. Thank you

Overall a wonderful stay

The house is very beautiful. It has lots of common space and outdoor space. The kitchen had everything you need even though it could use kid friendly/plastic bowls, plates, and cups. It's hard to have a bowl of cereal out of a massive salad bowl. There are lots very nice home touches to the house, like the piano and games. When looking to book be sure to understand how the rooms are laid out. The upstairs has 2 "family" style suites. You have to go through a room to get to another bedroom and they share a bathroom. It is perfect for a single family. The 1st floor has 4 very nice size rooms all with their own bathrooms. The showers are very small very 1950's style. All beds are very comfy and there are plenty of extra blankets and even roll away cots if needed. The house has a view of the lake but no real access. The community backs right up to the public park which has a boat ramp and small dock. The house is located about a half hour from Hillsboro, a nice old town with lots of little shops. Its also close to Dallas and Waco.

The pictures were misleading about this property and there is a terrible cat odor smell upstairs. There is one door that is locked that the smell seems to come from. One day we came back and this door was open and what looked like an old molded mattress was on the floor. There is no pool on property, nor is there access to one. The one listed is 30 minutes way and you do not have access to the pool since it is on another resort. We sat outside on the upstairs patio one night and were eaten alive by noseeums. At least 100-150 bites on myself alone so please make sure you bring bug spray.
