Spacious Ocean Front Resort - 3 Bedroom Condo

This 2,000-square ft-condo is unique in that it has two large master bedroom suites with changing areas and private baths plus a third bedroom w/bath. A pull out sofa bed allows for total accommodations for 8 people. With the master suites on opposite ends of the condo, it is a great set-up for 2 or 3 couples as well as for friends or families who want additional space with luxury surroundings. There is a well equipped kitchen if you wish to dine in, free high speed internet, washer/dryer, iron & board, hairdryers, 3 TVs, DVD player and more. The sliding glass doors on each bedroom and living room all open to the large wrap around patio with a partial ocean view. The gated complex has a large beautiful tropical courtyard with grills and picnic tables, and the large pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean.

The Olympic-size pool overlooking the Atlantic ocean with private beach is absolutely breath taking. The huge, tropical courtyard inside the complex truly makes you feel like you are in a tropical haven. In addition, for your enjoyment is an over-sized hot tub and men's & women's saunas to relax in. Feel free to use the barbecue grills and picnic tables to have your picnic in paradise, or you can get some exercise using the 3 tennis courts (1 clay), hard ball court, or walking the beach. The 400 ft. beach front is adjacent to Smather's Beach to the east, or walk a 1/2 mile to the west and arrive at Higgs Beach. All this helps set the tone for a fabulous vacation.

Key West is a Caribbean Island with all the luxuries and conveniences of America. It is surrounded by the turquoise water of the Caribbean and Atlantic oceans, loaded with history, art galleries, performing arts, symphony, tropical foliage, fabulous restaurants, sports activities, 7 public beaches, shopping, entertainment, music and watering holes. Weddings on the beach are a common site.

Key West getaway

This is property is very spacious. We loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - all of which were very nice. Beautiful place to stay in Key West.

Our stay at Sunrise Penthouse in Key West

It was very outdated. The pool was nice. The room was very dirty. When we arrived. It was not a very nice place to go to. I would not recommend it to anybody. The screens are falling off the storm doors so we couldn’t even open up the doors. The picture you see shows that we can see the water, but we couldn’t see it through the powerlines. You’re right on the main road very loud and noisy. For the money, I would not recommend it to anybody. I talked to other people staying there and the people that live there and everybody else is paying much cheaper than us to have the pool view or the ocean view. Because of a false advertising and the dirtiness of the establishment, I would expect some of our money back.

Awesome place and location

Beautiful, clean, perfect location. Close enough to duval street but yet far enough where you could get away from the crowds and relax some as well.

Very nice condo

We really enjoyed out stay, very nice place. Only issues were the outside lights didn't work. Be nice if the hot tub / pool area were open longer for guest 21 years and older

Pluses and Minuses

The condo is really nice. Great location. We all really had a great stay. That being said, I offer the following. Pluses: - Ocean view - Hot tub and sauna and pool - Check instructions were great - Owner is very responsive to questions. - really nice towels - Plenty of plates and pots and pans - plenty of fun drink glasses - washer and dryer - Refrigerator makes loads of ice - Portable fans available for each bedroom Minuses: - The floor throughout the condo is so dirty, you cannot go without shoes. Socks and bare feet get black. Really needs a deep clean. - Silverware does not serve 8 people and is very flimsy - Chopping block knives are really not usable - Condo does not have any oven mits/pot holders - Oven is so dirty (bottom) it smokes when cooking which causes the smoke detectors to go off. We tried to wipe up whatever was left from prior renters - Most of the games in the game closet are missing most of their pieces and should be tossed. - Some inexpensive plastic containers would be nice (ziploc, Rubbermaid) - There are not enough chairs/seats for the counter. Only 4 stools) We used the desk chair with pillows to reach the counter. - None of the TVs are “smart”. - The stick vacuum smells like an old dog when used. Could not find replacement filters - There is a broom, but no dust pan

Great neighborhood

The place was great and the bathrooms were upgraded nicely. The cleaning service was not great. When we got there we had to wipe everything down because we had found crumbs and things on the kitchen counters, floors didnt look done, rugs still in the washer. I would recommend upgrading the furniture. Not very comfortable and was stained.Also with the wonderful upgrades in the bathroom, maybe also look to replace some little.things like the outlet covers. The main screen on the sliding door does not work and gets stuck. The bedroom curtains were a little hard to maneuver and didnt provide full coverage from street light at night. Great outside area to sit and close to.the beach. Beautiful community area with pool ,garden and library. Beautiful sunsets were to be seen there.We had a great time overall.

Family Vacation

The condo provided us with great accommodations. Well equipped. Took advantage of the pool, beach, and gym. Quiet neighborhood. Easy Uber to all the fun on Duval, Mallory Square, and the waterfront.

This place was absolutely amazing! The view is gorgeous!

The condo complex is spectacular! The condo was perfect for our group. We were a little disappointed in the private beach but no one can control human nature. I definitely recommend staying here!

The floors in the condo or very dirty. Our feet were black if we didn’t wear shoes. The condo needs updating very old.

Could have been better

Our original booking canceled 5 days before our trip so we were desperate. This unit was available but was $2K more for the week. The mattresses were soft, there was only one bowl (other than mixing bowls), lots of alcohol glasses (martini, margarita, wine) but not many regular glasses. The furnishings were dated and at least one bathroom had a fan in the ceiling but no way of turning it on. Had we not been desperate at the last second I would have looked further.

Key West Overnight

Rental was very nice. Wish we could have stayed more than two nights to enjoy the pool and balconies more but only had limited time and spent most of the day taking in Key West. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms was great.

Poor condition

1. I was led to believe the unit was on the ocean end of the building (whoever I spoke with said the only 3-bedroom units were on the end overlooking the ocean). Instead it was mid building overlooking a busy street, with a very limited view of the ocean. 2. On arrival, when opening the refrigerator freezer drawer, a large number of ice cubes slid out on the floor and blocked reclosing. The cube holder does not fit and allows ice maker to continue to produce cubes which then overflow. We had to spend time cleaning this up and clearing the freezer drawer path. 3. The dishwasher leaked on the kitchen floor with every use requiring clean up. 4. While the photos showed 9 chairs around the kitchen counter (no table), there were only 4 stools. We could not enjoy a meal together because we had to spread out to available surface areas. 5. The unit needs general improvements from doors sticking, replacement of burnt out lightbulbs, and cooking items loose or warped. We've stayed at 1800 Atlantic several previous times, but will not go back.

A little off the busy area but close to the airport and nice pool. Beach not good!

Unit was very big and roomy, floors were not clean we had to scrub them but otherwise than that it was great to be able to eat breakfast and lunch in and saved a lot of money that way!

We love living in the woods, although really enjoy the the carribean island of Key West with it's beautiful ocean views and tropical charm. My Florida guests say they vacation in Key West because it is so different than the rest of Florida, truly a unique gem!

We had traveled the Florida Keys to find the right spot for our tropical vacation home, and we arrived at 1800 Atlantic Blvd and immediately fell in love with this beach front paradise. It's huge tropical courtyard, with the beautiful pool which overlooks the ocean is spectacular. We also liked it was right next door to Smather's Beach, and a 1/2 mile from Higgs Beach. You truly feel like you are on a tropical island, and as my guests say, 'close enough to Duval Street and all the action, but far enough away to know you are on a tropical island.
