Our family of four had a wonderful stay in Osterville! The property was exactly as described and the perfect location close to town, restaurants, and just a 15 minute drive to Hyannis to catch the Ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. We drove throughout the Cape and Denise's place was a wonderful home base for our family of four. We appreciated Denise's attention to detail with the check in, use of amenities and check out process. Denise also responded to questions quickly prior to our visit. This was our first trip to the Cape, and we would love to stay at Denise's place again!

We arrived on the cape as everyone was leaving on Labor Day. The house was lovely.Entering the house was very smooth. The driveway is up high so we always backed in.Kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked well.The living room and tv room worked well for us.b One of my daughters had to work so she appreciated the barn door that separated the two rooms.The house is a 3 minute drive to beach and walkable to town which we enjoyed.I had immediate responses with Denise (the owner) when needed.I would highly recommend the house.

We loved the house!

Very clean & comfortable! The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. The home was walkable to Osterville downtown, and only 4 minutes drive to Dowses beach. A great stay!

Osterville Delight

Wonderful quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the town center and access to all of the local beaches - a great stay!

Perfect House For Vacation

Quaint village away from tourest traps but a very quick ride to the busier towns. Great restaurants, stores and icecream near by. Beaches right around corner. House was suoer clean, best hosts ive ever had. A great stay all around.

Very nice home. Clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and shopping. A construction project was taking place across the street which was noisy on the first day. Other than that, very nice home.

Quiet and comfortable...

The house was perfect for us and the family room was a great place to relax after a full day. Very clean and comfortable. Denise, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive.

Excellent Stay and Incredible Hosts

This is our second summer renting here! The owners are impressively responsive and very hospitable. The property is spotless, very clean and updated, and accommodating. A perfect location that is very close to all Osterville areas/sites. We highly recommend this home! 5 out of 5 stars!

Excellent Hosts and Superb Accommodations

The hosts provided the highest level of responsiveness and attention to detail prior to our arrival and during our stay. The property was very clean, spacious, and offered all amenities anyone could ever possibly need or want. Top notch hosts and home. 5 Stars in all aspects!! Simply the best!

On Cape Cod for a family wedding and reunion.

The trip was delightful and our VRBO met our needs and expectations. We were comfortable and slept in peace, the sheets were very high thread count, spa like really. The appliances were brand new, the tech was up to date and met our needs. The rinse off after a beech day was awesome. The location was perfects for family gatherings at other VRBO’s and the village watering holes.

Perfectly appointed

We had a wonderful time at the Cape staying at this home. It was located in a great neighborhood (my husband and I would go for walk in a couple of times). Enough room for our family with two living areas. Everything you needed for the beach was there. Good jumping off point to visit other towns on the Cape. Denis was very responsive with any questions we had.

It’s all about the location at this “modern remodel.” Located just 1 mile from Osterville Main Street & Dowses Beach, the included beach pass was a huge win. The single-level layout was also ideal for our group. Denise was very responsive before & during our stay, & having beach chairs, a wagon, & beach towels provided was a big plus.The home has been tastefully renovated with a lovely coastal vibe. A few things we wish we had known: there is new construction directly across the street, & we experienced three full days of spray-foam insulation noise. This is beyond the owners’ control, but worth noting.The home sits on a hill & the driveway is quite, quite steep, something to consider if traveling with anyone who has mobility/stability challenges.There are two full baths, but the three bedrooms are all at one end & share the hallway bath, esp at night. The second bath is at the opposite end w/a small walk-in shower. We often used the lovely outdoor shower instead.The original floors are quite creaky, so footsteps carry throughout the house day &, unfortunately for light sleepers, night. Also, aside from the kitchen, hallway & bathrooms, there is no overhead lighting/fans- rooms rely primarily on lamps & can be quite dim, particularly the bedrooms.Finally, choose the master bedroom if you can—the mattress was very comfortable. The other mattresses need attention. The queen had a 6-inch memory-foam mattress on a box spring & slept extremely hard.

Lovely home in lovely Osterville

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is is such a great location, in a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to Osterville Center and Dowses Beach. We didn't have any issues from check- in to check out. We found the home very clean, nicely updated and fully equip with everything we needed. The home fit our party of 4 adults and 1 child comfortably. The owner was easily accessible for any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Nice getaway on the cape

The house is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood on mid-cape making it easy to get to many attractions. The house is very clean and organized, and seems recently renovated. The house has plenty of amenities, especially the outdoor furniture, the new grill and outdoor shower make it a very relaxed stay to enjoy the summer. It's also very nice that the host provides a beach pass for several local beaches, and our favorite is Dowses beach, which is a resident-only beach and was not crowded. The host, Denise, is very responsive and organized, providing lots of info about the house and the area; easy self check-in and check-out. Overall, we were glad that we chose this house for our vacation on the cape.

Great stay.

The house was exactly as advertised: extra clean, perfectly decorated and well stocked. Linens and towels were provided which is a major plus having had to pack my own in the past. Landlord was easy to reach and attentive. Had an issue with an appliance and a repair tech was out the next day. We had terrible weather this year and it was not a hardship to hang out in the house. It was convenient to beaches as advertised as well as close to Hyannis where we like the downtown. Will be adding grandchildren to next years' trip, so it may be a bit snug for us with 6 adults and new babies, otherwise, I would gladly stay here again.
