Aaron was a great host! The cabin is neatly nestled atop a hill with amazing views of the water! Everything needed for a perfect getaway! Quiet friendly strip of homes. We got to listen to the wind rustle the leaves as we had a fire and cook smores, couldn’t ask for a better weekend, great job you guys

The place looks great as a whole but has a lot of smaller items that needs attention. Wifi didnt work, we had no connection to call/text, sink was difficult to turn off, shower knob not on, but biggest issue was not feeling safe. The neighbor stopped by 3 different times. The last time was banging on our door at 10 pm asking us to move out vehicles like 3 houses down and leave them there over night. We ended up leaving that night, a night early. We were terrified! The vrbo next to us said they had the guy interrupting them as well.

The neighbor helped these guests with parking. Let them know That there was a storm and internet was down. He is the kindest old man. He went out of his way to help these guests. Instead of being grateful to have someone helping them, they decided to make it an issue. That neighbor has helped countless guests without ever having an issue. If you’re afraid of a nice old man who’s lived there for 25 years coming over to help you with updates or any issues then this house wouldn’t be for you. But if you like nature. Beauty and helping kind neighbors, this is your spot!

Lake house

Lake was empty. No ice or ice trays. Shower door won’t close. Internet barely works. Remotes for all TV’s were dead had to go buy batteries for one.

I'm sorry the lake conditions and several practical details fell short during your visit. The shower door, internet and television remotes should not have added frustration to your getaway. We appreciate you identifying those concerns and the missing ice trays so clearly.

Family Friendly Peaceful Lakeside Cabin

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lakeside cabin!Aaron was a very attentive host and easily communicated with us throughout booking and check out. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. The home & its location were ideal for visiting with adult children, who live in the area. Also, it’s an easy drive to downtown Indy, to catch a concert and visit the Slippery Noodle. Our grandchildren loved the house! As our 8 year old granddaughter said to her 11 year old cousin, this is a great house for hide & seek. The arcade games were a big hit with ages young & old. We loved the peacefulness of early mornings and coffee on the deck, overlooking the lake, while bird watching and enjoying the wildlife. As matriarch of our family, I loved the large dining table, which was so conducive for family dinners. All in all, this is a nice home to relax and spend time with family & friends.

Innacurate oroperty description

Wasnt a horrible experience but the description showed a large hot tub, when i got there it wasnt working so there was a backup inflatable looking one that also wasnt working tucked away on the side/back of the house. The front living room/bedroom was nice with a great view. Fire places were nice but fir the extra fees and price i figured it would be updated. There was an old smell in the place and the shower door would not latch, definitly needed updating. I left after the first night, was not what i was expecting.

I'm sorry the hot-tub availability and condition of the property did not match your expectations. That is particularly disappointing when those features are part of the reason for booking. We appreciate your specific feedback about the shower, odor and listing description, as well as your kind words about the view.
