Location of home is in the town of Platte City and only - 7 miles to Weston or KCI. 20-30 minutes to Union Station, KC Chiefs, Nascar, and numerous other venues. Platte City is a small town and sits along I-29 about 20 minutes northwest of downtown Kansas City. There are numerous orchards, wineries and brewpubs within a short distance of the home. Many restaurants, clubs, museums, and other points of interest nearby including nearby Smithville Lake, Fort Leavenworth, Weston Bend State Park and other various points of interest. Home has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, 2 living room areas and all the kitchen and bath amenities. Price is based on 4 adults. There is an additional charge for each guest after 4. No third-party bookings - if you are booking the home - you need to be the one staying in the home. Home is family operated.

Clean and comfy

This was a great house for my three adult daughters and I to stay for our weekend. The home had everything we needed plus a few perks. We each had our own bedroom and enjoyed the patio. There were excellent restaurants nearby and an easy drive to Weston. The host was very responsive and helpful. We felt very comfortable here.Phyllis S. from Nebraska

Great stay in Platte City

We were in town for a wedding. It was a great option for us. Very clean and cozy with space for everyone. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The location was close to the interstate and just about 1 1/2 miles from the grocery store and fast food options.

Family Thanksgiving

This was our second stay at this house. We were in town for a family Thanksgiving and this house is very comfortable. The bedroom furniture has been upgraded and is very nice.

Like home!

Older home with a touch of Grandma and comforts of home! Quiet neighborhood. Across the street from a cemetery so if that bothers you well… We explored the cemetery and found so much history! Home was very comfortable with plenty of seating in the living room! Would stay again!!

Great Sisters’ Weekend

This property was perfect for our sisters’ long weekend. Great location - central to all of the places we wanted to go. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and living room were great for getting together for games and visiting, and the coffee supply was a wonderful bonus.

Great Weekend in KC!

The house was perfect for our family! We had five adults with one couple and three singles, so four bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect! We arrived later on Friday and spent most of Saturday and Sunday in KC/Topeka, so we didn't cook any meals, but the fridge and Keurig were well used! The location was great as the neighborhood was very quiet but only a 25-30 minute drive into KC, and there were good nearby restaurants! The living space was great for all of us to spread out and relax in the evenings, after a day of activity, and we all slept well on the comfortable beds! Janette was terrific on communication and answering questions! Overall, we loved our stay and would stay again when we're in the area! Would highly recommend this clean, comfortable property to anyone looking to stay near KC! Thanks Janette!

Nice home, but not as advertised

The property was clean and well-stocked, but did not have the bunk beds as pictured in the advertisement. Additionally, when I first made the reservation, the ad said the property slept 6 and any additional would be charged extra. I was charged $150 even though I only had 6. When I told the owner, she changed the ad, but only refunded me $50. It was Girl Scout Troop funds, so that was a bummer.

Very clean and comfortable

We had a very nice time There was not bunk beds as listed and the “double”pull out couch is super small but my adult sons found and way and we all 7 us slept comfortably If you book more than 4 people there is an extra fee after you pay the original VRBO just so you know

Great property!

The house was very clean and homey! All essentials were provided and there were extras like games, coffee, sugar etc! We spent every evening in the backyard playing cornhole. There was even a fan on the back porch to help cool! Will definitely book again next time we are in the area!

Surprise party

Needed to stay in Platte City to go to a surprise birthday party. The house was very comfortable and affordable. The owner was so nice. I would absolutely stay there again!
