We had such a great stay! The house has so much personality and is filled with beautiful and interesting art everywhere you look. We really enjoyed the hot tub—it was perfect for relaxing and definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay. The kayaks were a really nice bonus too. Everything made the experience feel unique and special. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again!

Kim is a great host! The house is absolutely beautiful with amazing views of the river. The hot tub is amazing as well.

Great location with great views. Close to Peoria Heights and short drive to the couple of golf courses we visited over the weekend.

Cozy Stay!

What a great place for a cozy stay!! The views and the hot tub, the big bed and the provisions for our pooch. Everything was lovely for our chilly little holiday getaway.

Perfect fall getaway

Beautiful property right on the water and close to many attractions. Dining was a short drive and home had many amenities that made it just perfect.

Nice secret getaway

My husband and i did a couples trip with our friends. It was a very nice, cozy, comfortable cean and warm feeling home.

We most enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching the barges float by. The local museum and planetarium provided an interesting way to spend an afternoon. The kitchen was ample size for the two of us. We enjoyed cooking during our stay. I would suggest a mixing bowl and a few basic spices would make a nice addition to the kitchen. Overall a great place to get away for an extended weekend with ample things to do in the area.

I’m so glad you enjoyed! There actually are mixing bowls there in the lower cupboard. Going through Covid deterred us from leaving open food. Come back anytime!

Overnight in Peoria

Great place to relax after a long day of volleyball games. Kids loved recovering in the hot tub and adults loved the view of the river, the creative and artistic decor, and super comfy beds. This would be a great place to visit in the warmer months as well. We also enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant called Thyme Kitchen and Craft Beer.

Riverside Retreat

This location is even better in person! We were looking for a relaxing stay while visiting my family and couldnt have chosen better. The entire house felt beautifully curiated and comfortable plus it was so much fun! We got to watch firework shows going across the entire river and enjoyed fishing and playing ping pong to pass the time. Cant wait to stay again!

Weekend Getaway to Peoria

We had a great time visiting Peoria. The house was in a great location. We enjoyed spending time at the house while enjoying the water equipment, ping pong table and hot tub. Kim reached out several times making sure everything was ok and that we had everything we needed.

Family Reunion

Found this great little property that we were able to book, Had 4 adults and 2 teens, was a little tight but we made it work. Clean and enjoyable property no complaints will book again in the future. Host stayed in contact and was prompt with questions.

Great stay in Peoria Heights!

We planned to visit relatives in the QC. Since we got into Chicago late we wanted to stay at a place halfway, and we were lucky to find this rental. Super cozy house on the Illinois River had everything we needed. So enjoyed hearing the river sights and sounds from the hot tub! Next time we’ll stay longer.

This is a great little house. The back deck overlooking the river is just what I needed at the end of the day. From the plants and flowers outside to the amazing decor inside, this is a great place to stay. If and when I'm back in the area I hope its available at that time because here is where I would stay

Cozy & Chic all in one!

This was such a well planned, placed and designed house. It is right along the river where you can watch bald eagles land, or watch the barge go by in the winter and crackle all the ice as it pushes to shore. The hot tub on the upper deck gives you such a great view and if you wake up early enough sunrise is a beautiful scene! The hosts have all the right comforts in place for a really amazing stay.

Stunning Views of the Frozen Lake

Stayed overnight after visiting the frozen waterfalls at Starved Rock. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake from the hot tub was the highlight of the stay. We enjoyed the eclectic decor and playing ping pong with the kids. We are planning to come back in warmer weather to try out the kayaks on the lake.

We had a wonderful few days of rest and relaxation! The only complaint was there was no curtains in bedroom.

Bedroom has a tiny little recessed window high in the air to the side. Can’t see how curtains would serve any purpose at all except ruin the ambiance of the room.

Ledgestone tournament stay

Our family was in town for Ledgestone disc golf tournament and the house was a great place for locations of disc park's and with the hot tub to relax, also the beds were so comfortable 😀 and the neighbors were very friendly 😀. I will be booking for next year 😀 👍 Kim was very reachable with any need which were none!

Very small and located next to railroad tracks

The property was very clean and well kept. Was just small and somewhat crowded. It’s very close to road tracks and trains came through at 4:30 in the morning.

Brian. I advise the house is small. If you read the listing and book you book knowing it is small. It sleeps 4. That is what is on the listing.
