Beautiful stay

We were very pleased with the entire stay. There was a lot of things in the kitchen that were provided right there for us which was a plus! The whole beach house was beautiful and we enjoyed our time!

Very nice spot

It is one of the best places that I have stayed very comforting beds and right on the river very nice and quiet u can hear all different bird calls in the evening..I really enjoyed and relaxed there.

This lovely riverfront home was just what we wanted for our sibling weekend getaway. Beautifully decorated, it had everything we needed to make relaxing memories. Owner was quick to respond to our questions and easy to contact. Would definitely book again!

Lovely place

We were in town for a dog show, and this little place was a wonderful touch. On the smaller side, but very well designed.

Too small for 5 dogs and 5 adults. Guests like you make allowing dogs difficult. Dogs were on beds, couches, used white towels to clean dogs and left hair and stains everywhere. In future we will be more cautious on pet owners allowed in our small home!

Weekend away

We planned a quiet weekend away and it was. The home was very nice and had a great view. The house really had everything you needed. Communication was great too. I would book again!

Girls trip

This was the perfect place for our girls trip! Quiet neighborhood, great river view and plenty to do downtown if you choose to explore. We especially enjoyed a little time on the river in the kayaks that were provided by the owner. The owner was extremely fast in her communication and provided great information prior to our trip.

Gorgeous view on the lake

The best part was waiting till sunset and watching the Sun go to rest on the west side of the lake. Awesome views and very clean. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

Best stay ever

Anabelle creates the most beautiful and comforting getaway. I could look at the river and read all day! We enjoyed thrifting in little towns and lunches at Avanti's. She answers all questions right away. She is the ultimate host! This was my third visit! LOVE IT! Best, Kendra

wonderfully relaxing

Empathic host, a great house with quiet neighbors. A combination that made for a awesome stay. "One World" (pizza in Peoria) was one of the best hand thrown pizzas we have every had! We went for the unusual, and we scored. "Trefzger" ( a 150 year old bakery in Peoria Heights) was such an aroma/flavor/memory trip. Thanks

You stayed in our home in the Midwest in mid April and we are experiencing high flooding waters (our home is riverfront) & inclement weather. Not much that can be done outside during this season. We just added a new deck, concrete patio & wall in the fall, and many other amenities and are constantly upgrading. You brought a pet although you didn’t add your pet to your reservation. Your dog urinated on our furniture and we billed you for a pet fee we should have received from the get go, For this reason you gave us less than 5 stars even tho your family left a rave review in our paper guest book. We accept pets with a fee and appreciate the honesty of our guests who pay that fee upfront. It’s unfortunate we found out you had a pet the way we did.

Clean & Comfortable

We were in the Peoria area visiting and wanted a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Anabelle's property delivered in spades. Communication was excellent. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The location can't be beat, lovely view of the water. We utilized the gas grill several evenings along with enjoying the deck. Everything was clean and we had great sleeps. Will stay here again if we ever come back to the area. Cheers

Lovely home

We used this property to get ready at the day before of our wedding. Girls upstairs and boys downstairs and it was perfect! Beautiful scenery. Amazing natural lighting. We then stayed together as a married couple. We’d love to come back every year as an anniversary house and bring the pups.The only thing I could think is the listing showed a bunk bed but it was 2 solo queens in two separate rooms. It didn’t matter for our stay as husband and wife but good to know.

Thanks for kind review, we changed the bunks out over a year ago as a guests broke the bunks and we had to replace them. For some reason, Vrbo will not allow us to delete the pictures so we do have both on our listing. Our wording states we have 2 queens- one in each room & no longer have the bunks. Sorry for any confusion.

Cozy Retreat

Annabelle has a great home to relax in, yet if interested in exploring the local cities/area, nothing is too far from the house. We enjoyed the 2 levels and 2 of the 3 outside seating areas. We had pre and post Komen Walk comfy experiences there. Very clean, furnishings and decorating was really nice. They even had some packaged staple food you could prepare if you checked in late and didn’t or couldn’t go shopping right away for a meal!! We wished we had kayaks or paddle boards because the river was so calm. A beautiful view! Thank you Annabelle.
