Welcome to the Cottage at Mason Park!

Located across from the beautiful Mason Park in Laurel with its fenced dog park!

It is beautifully furnished with some antiques and has a fully equipped kitchen.

Our place accommodates 4 guests with a brand new premium casper queen size mattress and a new Kendale pull-out couch.

1.2 miles to downtown on the only avenue with a bike lane.

Close to the main grocery stores and restaurants.

Less than 1 mile from the Historic District.

1.4 miles from 5 new tennis courts located at Daphne Park.

We loved the Cottage at Madison Park

The cottage is cozy, clean, and well equipped. As a retired chef I appreciated the quality of the kitchen appliances: oven with air fryer option, very efficient microwave. Full size washer and dryer were nice. Because of unseasonably warm weather we used both heat and AC and both worked very well. Bed was super comfortable and convertible couch was nice, The cottage is conveniently located and we appreciated the recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We also enjoyed the nice welcome basket. We took side trips to New Orleans, Ocean Springs, and Gulfport. We enjoyed the golf cart tour of Hometown Houses.

Overall had a great stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. Pet friendly which is a huge plus! Right across street is a dog park. We enjoyed our anniversary at would love to come back.

Cottage getaway

We enjoyed The cottage and the fact that we could bring our two little dogs. Everything we needed was there. Nice week exploring Laurel.

Great place one negative

Everything was great except for the number of stairs leading to to the cottage. Hand rails need beefing up.

Sheets were not clean we washed them after our first night. Sheets pillow cases and comforter Smelled sweaty and stale . Other body odors were present.

Cottage

Nice and clean left snake and coffee. Please let outgers know about double stairs to get to cottage my husband bc and is disabled but I was able to aid him in climbing stairs. Please add one set of softer bed pillows and a few throws to the ladder as it was a bit cool in the nights. Need to replace frame for license and paint the front porch and steps for first impression. FYI top step is loose can cause a fall. Overall nice place.

Outside

The outside was not great, needed painting, porch needs painting the outside siding and the windows needed cleaning. Not a good first impression, my wife wanted to leave before we went in, she was afraid. But the inside was clean and well appointed and pleasant. The outside is why a 3 star. If we stayed again the outside needs major work.

In Laurel for oversee work on our winter home

The Cottage at Mason Park is one of the few places that accept pets. Our 'cottage' was nicely appointed and convenient to a lovely park. We were in town to pay some contractors for work on a home. We're planning on moving to Laurel to escape the winter weather in the upper midwest.

Well appointed property in a quiet neighborhood. Short drive to downtown Laurel to visit all the Home Town venues and restaurants.

Nice location, quaint and cozy

The cottage was well located to all things Laurel. The park across the street provided a lovely place to walk our dog. The home was well appointed and perfectly decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very clean and we appreciated the snacks that were provided. Loved the dog park right across the road as we were traveling with our cocker spaniel.

Very pleasant

The host has redone the interior of this cottage house, and it is very comfortable. It's also super clean. This house was perfect for just the two of us to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. Cozy and comfortable, and just minutes from historic downtown, great restaurants, and even Walmart. We certainly recommend it.

Cozy cottage

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and cozy. It was very well stocked. The drinks and snacks provided were greatly appreciated. We loved the thick plush towels!

Loved it!

This little cottage is so cute. It was perfect for our needs. When we arrived there were snacks, coffee pods, and a few waters. So nice after a long trip. They really thought of everything. We had breakfast there & the little kitchen had everything we needed. Shampoo/cond./body wash in dispenser like a hotel. hair dryer, ample towels (high end), there was even a dog sofa which Pocket & Ellie really appreciated. There’s a dog park right across the road but also a small side yard that made this the perfect spot for us. If you drive an SUV or large vehicle may want to check with the owner for alternate parking. There is covered parking for one car but we barely fit. If you are into sports don’t forget your login info. TV was Roku only

Great location

Very clean very cute. I did see there were stains, but they were more than I saw in the pictures and little bit steeper than what I was anticipating. Overall great experience.

Ant Problem

It was a nice place in a nice, quiet neighborhood. There is an ant infestation in the kitchen and dining room area. We saw the ant traps everywhere but didn’t see any ants until the third day we were there. Found them all over the coffee pot, a few in the bathroom, and all over the dining table that’s near the living room. Time to make sure this isn’t an issue before it’s rented again.

Great rental

This quaint rental was a great option for us. We came in the night before Loblolly with our two children. It was welcoming and spotless and had all the items we needed. Communication with Isador was easy and quick. Would definitely stay again!
