Fully remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home with a private porch overlooking the beautiful live oaks in the peaceful Columbus Square Park. This home was originally built in 1940 and has been fully restored and remodeled. Guests can take advantage of the fully stocked kitchen, new appliances, tv is streaming services only, and all of the necessities to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Take a quick 5 minute walk to the Main Street of Downtown Darien with shops & restaurants which offer an amazing view of the river. Don’t forget to try the fresh, famous seafood and oysters at Skipper’s Fish Camp! All of the historic treasures in Darien, including Fort King George, Waterfront Park, The Old Jail and Art Museum, Butler’s Plantation and so many more are only a short drive away! Soak up the sun on St. Simons Island, or experience the wildlife on Jekyll Island. Take a ferry ride and watch the wild native horses run the beaches of Sapelo Island, or have a day out on the town and walk the infamous cobblestone streets of Savannah, Georgia, all of which are just a quick 30-35 minutes away!

LOVED this home.

This place was clean, comfortable, very well decorated, and easy to find. It's in a picturesque, quiet area with a beautiful park near by. The hosts were great to chat with before and made the process so easy. We commented several times that this is the place we'll stay at again when we return!

Quaint little cottage

It was a perfect place for this mama and two teens. Small but spacious enough. Had everything we needed and it was top notch clean. The couch is so comfortable!! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Cute Cottage with a great back porch

Perfect weekend getaway

This cottage is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay during Blessing of the Fleet Festival. The cottage was exactly as described. It was clean and welcoming after a long drive.

A quiet, non-typical, delightful vacation

This cottage was an assuming, small cottage, surrounded by a nice, quiet neighborhood. No noise whatsoever, except for that cardinal who kept seeing his enemy in our bedroom window reflection. Problem solved, close the blind! The screen porch, so nice! And the walking neighborhood, oh my gosh, so delightful! The restaurants, all within walking distance (including the Lunch Box), love them all. Dinner at dusk in Darien and a peaceful walk back home, heaven! And don't forget that wonderful chocolate store one block away! The house was very clean and Jaime included some nice treats which we partook of. The only down side for us was the sliding doors between the two bedrooms and the living room, especially the door between the king bedroom and the living room. There was a 2 to 3 inch gap at the top of the door which meant I couldn't be in the living room watching TV or having the light on without disturbing my spouse who was trying to sleep. We are on different sleep schedules so this was a challenge.

Great Place!

This is the second time staying here. Perfect place to stay when visiting Darien. The hosts are awesome and very accommodating. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be booking in the future.

Beautiful, comfy, renovated cottage in the town of Darien.

Really enjoyed our short stay here while visiting Darien. Owners were very responsive and made check in and check out easy. We could walk to most shops and restaurants and was just a short distance to the river. House was very comfy and clean, they did a great renovating and we would definitely love to stay again.

Perfect little place!

Great little place, steps away from Columbus Square and a short walk to the waterfront. The house was spotless, cozy, and the perfect size for my adult daughter and me. Had great interactions with the hosts. Would love to stay again sometime.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Would give this cottage & hosts 10 plus stars. Cottage was perfect. Everything we needed for our stay in Darien. Walking distance to waterfront. Enjoyed everything about it. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Stay in Darien

The cottage was lovely and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch. It was exceptionally clean! We had fun visiting Jekyll Island beach, St. Simons Island, and Savannah. The Island Market had everything we needed. We loved a light breakfast and coffee from Y’Antsone and had some delicious meals at B+Js across the street (seafood buffet!) The hosts gave us a lot of great suggestions and were very quick to respond!!

Owners were amazing

Darian is an adorable small town. On prior trips to visit family in Fla. we stopped there many times to have lunch and always commented that we should spend a few days there in the future. Finally we were able to book that now that we are retired. The owners of this VRBO were so amazing to work with. They gave us ideas of activities in the area and were kind and generous when we emailed about a sudden emergency with a family member. Their kind words meant a lot, and I had not found that with former VRBOs we booked. These owners were a stand-out, and I recommend this property highly. We plan to stay there in the Spring!

Clean and quaint

Great design, making a small, old house feel roomy and fresh. Not a speck of dirt anywhere. All amenities functioned well. Great water pressure in the shower. The beds were firm, too firm for my liking, but I brought a memory foam that helped a little. Loved the peaceful back porch. I did yoga out there. Darien is a simple place to go to slow down and enjoy nature.

Moss Cottage

This is like walking into a picture in a home or travel magazine. It’s clean and crisp and warm and inviting. We just loved our stay here. Very much appreciated the book with “things to see and do” and menus for many of the restaurants. Very close and walkable to shops and a pretty walk down the side street leads to a couple of squares with a gazebo and fountain. So much to do on this section of the Georgia coast and this was the perfect starting point for it all.

We had booked this property due to a wedding we were attending in Darien, GA. The property was everything plus more that was mentioned in the description and the location was beautiful with just a short walk to some shops and restaurants. The property owners were on point.

Very clean and quiet

Loved our stay ! Had a small issue finding the house because it is not well marked, adding the street numbers street side or on the porch would be great ! Also, maybe a curtain on the porch door ?? Last, upon our arrival, the porch door was open ?? Arriving at night, 3 ladies were a bit concerned, ended up with no worries, but that should have been checked Thank you for a wonderful girls stay !!

We recently moved to Darien and fell in love with this quant town, the history and nature around us. We decided to enbark on buying a small home in downtown Darien that we ourselves have completely renovated and brought back to life. We hope to have others come enjoy our home and the quantness of our cute little town.

This property is small but filled with tons of character, cozy and relaxing. Plus we are in walking distance of downtown Darien filled with restaurants, a wine bar, a speak easy, antique shop's, beautiful churches and parks! Plus we are less than a 30 minute drive to St.Simons Island, Sea Island and Jekyll, 45 minute drive to Savannnah or a short ferry ride to Sapelo Island.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house was built in 1940 and we've tried to stay close to its oringial character from when it was built. Lots of nautal wood, original wood floors and a cozy back porch over looking Columbus Park.
