Amazing house and gardens, perfect for what we needed, both owner and caretaker were excellent in communication and hospitality. Beautiful gardens and birds galore to watch!

Wonderful, cozy home with a magical desert landscape. Centrally located with a great pool and hot tub. Nice outdoor areas and comfy beds. Our group of friends really enjoyed our week there!

Toby was extremely hospitable and responded to email promptly. By far the most comfortable I've been when staying away from home. Lovely home that has a lived-in feel with everything you could need for a weekend or a month-long stay. The gardens are wonderful. It was a little cold for the beautiful pool but the hot tub was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring.

Palo Verde has become our home away from home when we are in Tucson. This was our second extended stay and we have already booked it for two months next winter. This amazing hacienda style home, including the veranda, the grounds, the pool and spa, and the separate casita are like a small, private oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Tucson. And like a step back in time, when life was simpler and peaceful.The owner Toby (living in Paris) and Tom, the property manager in Tucson are both a dream to work with, extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly.Our best VRBO experience ever!

Wonderful Tucson Retreat

Especially loved the peaceful veranda, which was a wonderful spot to have coffee, relax, and watch the birds.

Great place with plenty of room for the entire family

We had a fantastic stay! Toby and Tom were wonderful hosts, and the house was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved the pool, especially since it was fully shaded by early evening. We'll definitely be considering another visit!

And coming back next year for #6!!!! This group of executives from an outdoor training association truly profits from their stay year after year. They climb the summits in the Rincons and Catalinas, which we can see from the house. The indoor/outdoor vibe suits them for their annual conference. Lots of areas to sit, eat, be alone and contemplate, and/or just talk! The house works particularly well for this type of group or families. But we get quite a few couples too!

This is every bit as beautiful as the photo.

We loved staying in this unique house. There is something interesting to look at everywhere inside. The entire property is beautifully landscaped. Would definitely stay again. Perfect for family reunion!!!

Our stay was wonderful! The property is very clean, the home is spacious and very comfortable. The service was top notch. It was very easy to check in/check out and communicate with property management. Thank you!

Thank you for your review! You highlight the "meticulous care" and I can't argue with you. We use and invest in the house ourselves and are constantly upgrading. We have a newly remodeled bathroom and have installed new carpeting. We could have just laid down tile, much more practical in a rental property. But we loved the feel of the carpet ourselves. Our cleaning team is top notch and it shows, they have been with his for a long period of time and know the property.

Beautiful Veranda

Really enjoyed the pool and sitting on the veranda watching the birds and butterflies. Beautiful landscaping! Even though we had some rain during our October stay, we had a great time with family. I would love to visit again!

Thank you ! She was a model guest and we'd love to host her and her group anytime! They arrived in a torrential rain storm, rare for Arizona, but the rains pass quickly and they had a great stay! All best and we have a nice discount for return renters!

Classic Tucson home w/garden & pool

We loved staying in this classic Tucson home, convenient and comfortable, with a beautiful walled garden, a pool, and a hot tub. The furniture and artwork is all unique and fitting for the Tucson arts scene. We would definitely rent again.

Family Time

This property is great! Completely walled in creating a comfortable private oasis that is also pet friendly. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and comfortable, BBQ area is nice. Beautiful landscaping and art allowing for a fun relaxing weekend! Highly recommend!

Great place for families and pets

Loved our stay. Completely fenced property that is like a desert oasis right in town. We loved the outdoor desert flora and fauna and the pool area was wonderful- great private stay in a time when we really wanted to avoid being around others due to the virus. Tom, the property manager, was super helpful and easy to work with! We will be back

UofA Graduation

The stay here was excellent. We had family in town for graduation and it allowed us to each have a bedroom and bathroom. The house was very comfortable, clean and as expected. The host was available when needed and responded quickly to our questions. I would recommend this home for large families.

Thanks and it was a pleasure hosting ANOTHER University of Arizona graduation. We've been booked for this event for years. Its really true what our guest says. Its a great house for a large family reunion (or even a small family reunion!), be it graduation, Christmas, Thanksgiving- or even a weekend!

Oasis in the Middle of Tucson

Great place! Lots of room. Very comfortable. Perfect for a family. Wonderful grounds with pool and hot tub. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio having coffee in the morning with view of mountains and cactus. Owners were quick in getting back to us if we had any questions. Loved it.

Family Time

We went to Tucson to visit with our son and his family and rented this house for a little mini vacation. the 5 of us had a great time and just relaxed. The owner was awesome to work with as well as the property manager. The only problem we had was that we had to leave....wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful Ranch House

Our family has stayed here twice now. The property works well for us, as there's plenty of space for people to spread out. We didn't use the pool, as it was January, but definitely made use of the spa. The long, covered porch was our favorite spot to hang out. From there, we can gaze out on the myriad cactus (including Saguaro) and birds that inhabit them.

Fabulous Family Retreat

My husband and I, along with our two children (10 and 12) had such a great time here over spring break. My brother and sister in-law were also able to join us for a portion of our stay and occupied the guest house. In addition to the beauty of the pool, spa, and gardens the accommodations were very comfortable. We also enjoyed the proximity to much of the surrounding areas including desert and mountain hikes, stargazing, Sonora Desert Museum, and visiting local galleries. We would highly recommend this property for anyone interest in exploring the Tucson area while also enjoying some time relaxing.
