We try to keep our unit in a condition we would appreciate walking into and provide for beyond the basics of a clean unit! We hope you will share with others!

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I may have to reread my description it says that “we provide all kinds of light breakfast items and pantry items, including juice, coffee, and milk to get you started”. As a courtesy we leave many items as we live onsite a d can keep fresh supplies- much more than most any VRBO or Airbnb as they are not bed and “ breakfasts” we have ever stayed at. We include a mix of items for every guest such as : cereal, bread slices (sometimes bagels, sometimes wheat bread, sometimes croissant, bread, or scones, or a mix of all of the above) typically a item, of fruit,, pancake mix, 6 eggs,, rice, muffin mix juice coffee tea and creamer. Along with a spices, jam, peanut butter soup pasta sauce and cookie mix and snacks on the plate on the table to usually include granola bars or biscotti. We’re sorry that you didn’t feel that there was not enough left for you and you were expecting more. This is the first time in five years we’ve ever had that experience.. but thank you for letting us know how to do better you wish you would have said something while you were on site as we always encourage guests to reach out if they need something. I will carefully reword my posting or consider removing all items for future guests to alleviate any confusion The pancake mix and cereal completely gone, upon your departure. we started including the basic items because guests were often arriving in the middle of the night again very sorry you were disappogues.

We are so glad your 1st experience “spoiled you”, but it is true no all are taken care of equally. We want our guest to be a bit positively surprised. We can’t always as sometimes we do sleep :) but we try our best to provide information when known. You did get a great show complements of mother nature. We hope you may return some day!

Glad you all had a wonderful time and found our studio both welcoming and cozy! We don’t control the Solar storms for the Northern Lights nor the wildlife. But are always happy when guests get to experience a bit of our Alaska Happiness! !

We truly loved hosting you - you were inquisitive and wonderful. We want our guests to feel at home and feel they have privacy but also want them to have a sense of comfort knowing there is someone nearby if they have a question, concern, or basic need! Going on a trip or vacation requires time, planning, and finances - we want a guest to enjoy the investment of any of those precious things that we can help control - weather, animals, the aurora - not so much :). We do hope you may return and enjoy summer in Alaska sometime- it was our pleasure!

Awe- we really appreciate to glowing review. We take pride in offering a reasonable price stay that includes traveling conveniences such as the full kitchen, bath and laundry and a host of sundries to make using them easy! Living onsite gives us the opportunity to ensure this well maintained, clean and stocked. Replacing linens if they get damaged, worn or removed by guests. It’s hard to get a good nights sleep when you are away from home let alone when the sun does not set, so we do what we can to help that! It was our pleasure to have you as guests.

Thank you for letting us know about the steps and floor noise. They are requested to leave shoes downstairs. It is a long term rental. We have only had one other complaint about the steps or floor noise in 3 years, we will look at adding more carpet upstairs to absorb some of the sound or on the stairs. We think it may have been because they had their 2 teenagers visiting before going back to school. Typically only 1-2 adults. We are glad you liked your stay otherwise. We take pride in providing a comfortable cozy place with lots of amenities! We have stayed at several and lacking was a nice way to put it! We do hope you will consider returning.
