Perfect for families!! This darling three-bedroom, one-bath cottage with bright decor is just 1/2 block from the sand in the Pierpont neighborhood. It is just one lane away from Marina Park, which features a large children's playground and a pirate ship. The house is walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Ventura Harbor, gateway to Channel Islands National Park, is 2.76 miles from the house. The historic Ventura Pier is 2.79 miles north along well-maintained bike and walking paths.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, a toaster, a crock pot, a coffee maker, a blender, and everything you need to enjoy your stay. The front and rear yards are completely fenced with a lovely front garden and a spacious back yard. The back yard features a table with six chairs, an umbrella, and lounge chairs.

The house has three bedrooms - 1 King, 1 Queen, and 1 with two bunk beds. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys provided. Linens - sheets & towels - are provided—free wireless internet in the house.

Parking: 2 parallel parking spots. Both cars must fit on the cement driveway.

Perfect beach bungalow that checked all the boxes for a staycation while work was being done at my house. It’s pretty rare to get to be a “tourist” in your own town, but that’s exactly what happened. The home is steps away from the sand, with easy access to walking paths along the ocean and stunning sunsets. An easy 15 minute walk to Pierpont Blvd for tacos and plenty of other dining options. The harbor is also close, and the oysters at Brophy Bros were amazing. My dog joined me and we were able to grab frozen yogurt for both of us at Surf Yogurt. Friendly neighbors, safe neighborhood, and adorable home and gorgeous yard with lots of nice touches like beach chairs and bikes. Plus fully fenced yard for my Boxer pup. What felt like a stressful situation turned into an unplanned, fantastic vacay. Thank you for being a wonderful host, Christina!

Great spot for a beach vacation

The house was comfortable and clean, and equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a family week at the beach. Location was perfect - close to the beach, playground, park, groceries, and Pierpont restaurants.

So lovely! I thought it might be smaller, but it was surprisingly roomy with nice size yards front and back. We had our dog with us, and the fully fenced yards were perfect for her. She loved the space. Everything was clean and Christina has it stocked with every possible kitchen item you could need! Plenty of towels and extra bedding. Christina was so nice and quick to respond to any questions. It is literally a matter of feet to the beach! And at low tide we saw many cool tide pool creatures! The cottage is also just a block to Marina Park which has beach access too. This was a perfect quiet getaway for my husband, myself and Junebug. We would absolutely stay here again!

very cute place right near beach

this place was perfect for me and my dog. big fenced in back yard, and just a few houses to the beach. I love having a dishwasher in vacation rentals, and the kitchen was totally stocked, and there was a ton of beach and bath towels.

The Best Rental in Ventura

I would live here if I could. We loved this home that was 1/2 block to the beach. It is the ideal beach house. It has everything a beach house shoukd have, plus charm. Bicycles, beach toys, outside eating area, plus a direplace for chilly evenings.

The house was wonderful, 1/2 a block from the beach, close to downtown Ventura, sleeps 6 adults easily, 8 or more with kids. Big back yard for outdoor dining and lots of beach chairs and toys plus 2 bikes to cruse around town with (bring you own bike locks). Also, lots of seasonings and oils to cook with. We had a delightful time The host, Christina was delightful and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Lil beach house

Have stayed before and really enjoyed it! Again, great place, has everything you need to have fun close to the beach. Was a little hot this time but utilized the several portable fans to cool off the house as the sun went down and kept on at night. We will back!

Location is Everything!

This is a small bungalow in the middle of paradise. Most important, they allowed our family dog for our weeklong stay. The only negative is the very small bathroom with an awkward layout. We appreciated an affordable place, close to the ocean and everything we love about Ventura.
