Sanctuary on the North Shore of Lake Superior

The unique feature of this property is the spectacular panoramic high bluff view of Lake Superior. Our property has direct access to the Blue Jay Vista Trail for both snowmobiles and ATV's. The A-frame structure features vaulted 2-story window views facing east to Lake Superior. Relax or dine on a second-story deck that provides expansive views along the north shore, Lake Superior, and the sun setting through the woods. The A-frame is completely secluded on 6 wooded acres. The property features two outdoor fire pit areas with plenty of seating and fire wood is provided.

Another unique feature is the location. Easy access for groceries, wine and spirits, eateries, and gas. Beaver Bay is close by with more restaurants and shopping. With several state parks nearby, guests will find numerous hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, and scenic views. A snowmobile/ATV trail system is within walking distance of the property.

The A-frame was completed in 2009 and is a perfect blend of new amenities and an 'up north' interior décor complete with log railings, furniture, and tongue & groove throughout. The great room has a vaulted ceiling and panoramic unobstructed views of Lake Superior. Enjoy an even more expansive view from an outdoor seating area on the edge of the bluff.

Great House and Location

Loved the house. Just secluded enough while still being a short drive to a lot of fun outdoor stuff and to Silver Bay. Perfect spot along the north shore to access all the beautiful state parks and spots on Lake Superior. House was very clean, had all the modern amenities you could want. Would definitely stay again.

What a view!

Excellent property in a beautiful location! Property has a wonderful view of Lake Superior. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Our host Dave responded quickly to all of our questions, made sure we had everything we needed and provided great information about the area.

Absolutely Beautiful

My daughter and I visited the North Shore for the first time, and we absolutely loved our A-Frame! It was so beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful setting. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed inside and outside. Would highly recommend.

We continue to find new scenic locations that are accessible on short or long hikes, or on recreational vehicle trails. The views are spectacular both inside and outside so the weather does not inhibit full enjoyment of the beauty of the north shore.
