Beautiful home, perfect for our group. Gene is an excellent host, he is always available if we have any questions and always makes sure everything is good to go. We have been coming to Lake Placid for the last 20 years, by far the best place and host we have ever had.

Awesome Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay and made wonderful memories with our family (all 24 of us). The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We highly recommend Grand Peaks Lodge.

Perfect stay

Amazing property! Everyone was perfect for our family’s holiday get away. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. I will certainly be returning soon.

This spacious property worked extremely well for our large group consisting of adults and children. It had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend!

Perfect wedding weekend!!

We had our wedding on the property and had the most incredible stay. The home was clean and organized, all of our guests really enjoyed their time too! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Excellent for a big group!

We had a lovely time at the house! We met up with friends for a big reunion, and there was so much space for everything. The kitchen with two of everything was particularly appreciated, as were the two hot tubs! Would come again!

Amazing all around

Grand Peaks Lodge served as our home base and wedding venue for both ceremony and reception. Gene was a wonderful host and very available and helpful throughout the entire planning process and actual weekend. Our guests enjoyed their stay so much, as did we! Would definitely recommend any of Genes properties for any type of gathering or vacation.

Winter break with family and friends!

This house was excellent for our big group. It was very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. Everyone had a great time and especially enjoyed the two jacuzzis! The owners/property managers were super responsive. We will definitely be back!

We had the absolute BEST stay! We used this lodge for our wedding weekend with close friends and family and had a small ceremony in the backyard. Everything went flawless & Gene (the property owner) gave us amazing recommendations for rental companies for table & chairs, catering and more. He was responsive throughout the entire rental process even when we had questions during our stay. We will definitely be returning with our baby boy someday who will be arriving in January 2026!!!

Outstanding Property

We always have a good experience with High Peaks Rentals. Our visit was seamless and the home was excellent. Tons of room with all the right touches and amenities. We will be back for sure.

Grand Peaks Lodge Visit

Our family of 17 (which included two one year old twins) stayed seven nights at Grand Peaks Lodge. The place is great and provided enough room for our big family. Gene was great to work with and made sure everything was perfect. We hope to come back to Grand Peaks Lodge in the future. Highly recommend.

Combined Bach Party!

We had a combined bachelor/bachelorette party with all our friends for the weekend and had an absolute blast! Gene was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had, and the space was perfect for what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful experience

This house exceeded our expectations! It is just as beautiful as the photos portray. We stayed here with 17 of our family members and we still had plenty of room. Gene was wonderful and the communication from him was great. We WILL definitely be staying here again. We have no complaints at all!

Magical!

If possible this property was even better than pictures or description. The owners were so attentive and accessible though not intrusive. The feel of the place, the amenities, supplies, everything was just great. Everyone in our group of 28, including children, teens, adults, and seniors, were happy and comfortable! Family and friends

The house was amazing. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone. A few sets of washers and dryers came in handy. Also, the bunk room had trundle beds under the bottom bunk providing two extra beds in the double bunk room. Amazing!

Amazingly spacious house, close to Whiteface

This house was amazing for our large group of 19- everyone had plenty of place with their own bathroom, the kitchen had 2 of everything, and the kids got to have fun with giant sleepovers in the bunk beds. Close to whiteface but a little far from LP which made the desire to go out to dinner after a long day of skiing tough. Host was great and very communicative. Highly recommend for a ski trip with a large group!

Beautiful Cabin for a Great Weekend

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at Gene’s property. The place is HUGE and immaculately kept. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and plenty of areas (dining room table, porch table, fire pit, fire table, etc.) for everyone to gather and spend time together. Super drivable to Lake Placid and some high peaks. Sauna and hot tubs were also highlights! Gene was super responsive; I got a response to my texts within minutes! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing house and reunion

Our group of families who adopted from China 15 years ago, gets together every year for a reunion. We have been renting large houses all over New England. This house was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms comfortable and the house was so spacious that everyone in our party had room to stretch out! Gene was a wonderful host and we look forward to next summer and China Reunion 16! Thank you!!
