We’ve put the finishing touches on a full renovation of this beautiful turn of the century home. ADK Mountain House is an open concept floor plan with 10' ceilings, some rustic and some industrial decor for the perfect design and feel.

Features ample parking & incredible views.

Enjoy the classic charm of this beautiful 1896 home with all the modern comforts you desire, newly renovated from top to bottom. You'll love the brand new appliances, double of everything in the gourmet kitchen to accommodate large groups! Well appointed furnishings, brand new bathrooms and hardwood floors throughout the house. The enclosed porch is the perfect spot to start your day with that first cup of coffee. Send the kids out back to play in Teddy Bear Park, just steps away. You won't ever want to leave ADK Mountain House!

EIGHT bedrooms and FIVE bathrooms allow you and your guests to spread out as needed. The open concept 1st floor is the perfect place when you are ready to gather! (Be sure to check out the floor plans at the end of the photo deck)

Local laws only allow hosts to advertise up to # bedrooms (8) x 2 + 2 = 18 total guests (for this property), but you can see from the floor plans more can be clearly be accommodated...

We stayed here for an extended family trip (parents and kids ranging from age 2 to 20) and absolutely loved it. Very spacious, good condition and excellent location. The double fridges, ovens and washer/dryer combo were a game changer. Thomas was really nice and good to deal with as well. Would def recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house met all of our needs; having two of every appliance was so helpful with such a large group. The house is located so close to the village, only a five minute walk. The owners were very responsive. Lake Placid is absolutely gorgeous so much to do and see!

The house is everything promised in the listing. There are bedrooms galore and plenty of bathrooms. We had three families with 6 adults and 6 kids of various ages and we all found places to sleep comfortably. One big plus is that none of the bedrooms are in a basement so there is no mildewy, musty smell in any of them. The house is very convenient to the downtown area but quiet and out of the crush of tourists. The owners are responsive and helpful. It really is terrific!

Great home!! A block up from the Main Street. We walked to everything! House very clean and accommodates a large group! House stocked with the basics! Would stay there again!

Excellent setting for college reunion

This property is perfect for a large group--everyone can have their own space and it's walkable so easy to go off on your own and meet back up! we had such a great weekend here.

Great home and location

We spent 4 nights in this fantastic home. It had everything we needed for our group of 18. The double refrigerator, stove and washer/dryers were an extra luxury. The location can’t be beat. You can see Main Street from the house.

Family vacation

The location was terrific, one block from Main Street and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. With a playground literally outside the back door, it couldn’t have been better situated for our family. The spaciousness of the house was incredible and responsiveness of the hosts absolutely top-notch!

Great Group Location

Great location to stay with a large group. The proximity to town is unbeatable; a quick and easy walk to the heart of Main Street. Plenty of rooms and beds with space for a group to spread out. The large kitchen with its double appliances was an added bonus with ample room for food storage and meal preps. Hosts were excellent. Quick communications and accommodating to requests with added insights on what to do and where to visit.

Great family reunion home

It was great - accommodation were ok- I suggested a new king mattress, we added a few small kitchen implements- overall our kids and grands skied almost everyday- as well as shopped through town . Super location- central to everything ! All of us had a blast! I had a TIA, so spent a couple of nights in the hospital and found for a rural area it was fabulous! Would recommend this home to any family, it was great!

We had a family vacation with 12 people. The home was perfect, it had more than enough room for us. They supplied all the necessary amenities and more! It was the perfect location, short walking distance to town! We would love to come back, thank you for having us!!!

Great house for a big group

We were 11 people for a family Christmas gathering and everyone loved the house! The kitchen worked great for big meals and the layout was ideal for our big group. We walked to great restaurants, shops, ice skating, and Olympic sites. Tom was great to work with. Can’t wait to come back!!

It was wonderful having two of all kitchen and laundry appliances. There were plenty of bags for trash, detergent, soap, and other supplies. Tom was very responsive to our questions and challenges.

Amazing place super close to town!

Loved this house! Big, accommodating and close to town! Can walk everywhere is is awesome. The playground out back was a huge plus too for the kids! 2 ovens and fridge also a huge plus! Was able to make 5 pizzas easily! Host was super communicative and available if needed. Great property overall!

Perfect for a large group, excellent location

This house was perfect for our large group of friends. Everyone was comfortable in their own spaces yet we still had space to be together in the well-equipped kitchen. We cooked all of our dinners here and had plenty of space in the 2 refrigerator(our kids now want 2 at our own home). The location couldn’t be better. We could easily walk into town and Whiteface was less than a 30 minute drive.
