Air Conditioning Issue
Arrived on Sat. 8/5/23. That night AC was not working properly. Sunday morning, I contacted owner to let her know and she said she would reset on her end. Still wasn't working. Contacted owner again on Monday, temp was now in the high 70's. Owner said she would contact the HVAC guy. Never heard back from her. Contacted her again early Wednesday morning showing pictures of water build up and leaking in the bedroom ceiling and stated she needed to contact someone ASAP. At this point had to shut off the AC (remember this is AUGUST). HVAC person came on Wednesday afternoon and stated that the drain line was frozen and the system was being shut off. Said they couldn't do anything until it thawed out. I expressed my disappointment as the AC had not been working since I arrived. Thursday morning sent another message to the owner asking if she heard from the HVAC person since it was now 81 degrees in the house. At this point, my husband left to go home as he was totally frustrated and had not slept due to the heat in the house which ruined our vacation. HVAC person came later that day to repair. Said they were at the same house last year and that the unit is very old. On Friday morning I sent pictures to the owner showing her the sheetrock falling from the ceiling and pots on the floor to catch water. At no time did someone come to inspect what was going on. I was concerned the ceiling was going to collapse. If you are going to rent an expensive house take care of your tenants.
