Elk Run-Entire basement-1000 sq ft.-Cleaning fee included. Sleeps 4-6.

Our log home is located about 8 miles from Grand Targhee Resort, 1 hour and 45 min from West Yellowstone and 45 min from Jackson Hole Wyoming. Our log home is near the National Forest. You can enjoy golfing (1 mile away), fishing, crosscountry skiing, skiing, snow shoeing, horseback riding, hiking, climbing and ATV activities practically out the front door.
The entrance to the basement is not a private entrance. You do not have access to a full kitchen. You do have access to some small appliances. (see the amenities section.)
And we have beautiful sunsets!

You might even see some deer, moose or elk from a shared fron patio.

Although host is living in the home we are considerate of your privacy. We are available to answer any questions personally or via phone call or text.

You will be able to enjoy the entire basement of the log home in privacy.

It is a happy and comfortable place to stay.

Quiet time is between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

For your enjoyment there are 32” Smart TV in each bedroom and a 55” Fire TV in the living room.

There is complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water and spiced hot cider.


A Pack-n-play with bedding and a tall twin blowup bed is in the closet of the room with the queen bed.

Clothes iron for your use upon request.

We have one very friendly indoor mini goldendoodle.

There is a back patio on the south end of our home with a table, chairs and new gas bbq grill for your use. Enjoy!!!

Free parking on site. Please park on the North side by the grass (please do not park on the grass) and enter through the back door.

Please NO smoking or vaping in the house!

There are firearms on property in a locked and secure location and only avaliable to the owners.

We stayed 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well appointed the basement was. Everything you need is there. Stan and Jean were very welcoming and friendly. We also had use of the washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again.

Jean was an amazing host. We got in late and she still waited up to greet us. She was very kind and welcoming. The place was perfect for us. It was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this place. We stayed there while going to Grand Teton National Park. It was a good distance for us.

We had an excellent stay. Hosts were great and we appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer! We were hiking in Yellowstone prior to the stay so it was so helpful to do some laundry. The basement apartment was clean, roomy, and comfortable.

Beautiful home in the foothills of the back of the Teton Mountains. Unusual to just walk in to someone else’s home, no separate entrance, but Jean and Stan made us feel right at home! Large basement area, clean, 2 large bedrooms and very functional. Only negative was that the kitchenette did not have a sink so we had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink and use lots of paper products. It was doable, just unexpected! Jean is very friendly and accommodating! I think if we lived closer, she would be a good friend!

The host Jean is a very nice and helpful person! The check in process was easy! The property is close to Grand Teton. Yellowstone, and Targee National Forest! The property is very nice and beautifully decorated! Even though you share the property you have complete privacy! Excellent stay!

This was a fantastic stay with the property location ideal if you don’t like the crowds. It’s isolated away from downtown Driggs, but just a 5 minute drive to Main Street. Hosts were amazing and accommodating. Very comfortable and cozy rooms with a nice area to watch tv, play games, and eat! We highly recommend this beautiful property to everyone! 😊

Beautiful Teton view & in the valley. Jean our host was amazing She helped us unload our car & bring luggage downstairs.We had everything we needed lovely master bedroom king size bed & large 2nd bedroom queen size bed & full sizeWith huge walk in closet. Living room dining room & kitchen area are huge plus laundry facilities & a bathroom down & a 2nd one up stairs. It is large areaWe just loved it. Jean the owner will make sure you have everything you need. They are a sweet couple. Clean as a whistle

Jean welcomed us and helped us get settled and was a perfect host! This was a perfect space for us. Felt like we had room to be comfortable and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable had a fun cabin feel. Location was breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again!

I had some concerns with the basement, but you would never know with the way they finished it. Plenty of space with great bedrooms rooms and living area. Best of all great host!
