Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation together at On Lake Time! The home had plenty of space for our kids and grandkids, and provided everything we needed for making meals, relaxing and enjoying the lake. We especially enjoyed just hanging out at the dock, swimming, kayaking and boating on the lake. The nearby lakeside restaurants were an added bonus.

We absolutely loved our stay at On Lake Time! The house and property are beautiful! Very clean! Love the boat house and dock! Great water off the dock! The owner was very responsive and wonderful to work with! I highly recommend this property to large families! It was perfect for our crew!

Our group of 19 had a wonderful time at OLT. The house was beautiful and was located on a quiet cove. We spent much of our stay at the well equipped boathouse where we enjoyed swimming, fishing and kayaking. OLT is well suited for large families and there was plenty of room for meals, games, etc. I highly recommend OLT!

House had plenty of space and areas for everyone to enjoy themselves however they chose. Screened in porch had a great view and allowed for reading while still enjoying the lake. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Magical Week

We had a wonderful time at On Lake Time! We enjoyed the beautiful house in a wonderful location. We had everything we needed to fix big family meals, play at the dock, enjoy the fire pit, and hang out in the hot tub!

Wonderful Lake house great for multi generational family vacation

We loved our stay at On Lake Time. The house had a great layout and had everything we needed for our family vacation. We only left the property to get groceries as we just enjoyed the beauty of the property, lake, and house. We can't wait to come back!

Family vacation

Our stay was wonderful. Mike and Jen are wonderful hosts who resolve issues promptly. The house was beautiful and the location was great on the lake. Our family really enjoyed their stay there. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Nice lake house

Great place to spend a week at the lake. The private neighborhood boat launch ramp only a few houses down the street was very convenient.

Beautiful Lake Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at On Lake Time! The home has a great location in a quiet cove with plenty of dock space to enjoy the lake. The inside was well appointed with space for everyone to be together or spread out. We loved the fire pit and multiple decks.

Beautiful home in gear location

We just completed a wonderful stay, the property was outstanding. It was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. Everything you could ask for in a property in a great location on the lake. The owners were exceptionally responsive to our needs. Highly recommend this property.

What a great time we had with our family. The house is amazing and the owners could not have been any nicer to talk with. This house has everything and then some. We can not wait to return and make more family memories. Thank you for having us.

On Lake Time was a wonderful experience for the whole extended family. There was plenty of room with spacious accommodations for all. The great kitchen area made room for plenty hands. We were all able to sit for meals at the same table! Great times had on the dock, water and in the house. When asked about coming back here, there was a resounding YES by all. Bottom line, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great Family Vacation

We really enjoy our stay! It was perfect for our large family. Lots of comfortable sleeping spaces. The house had lots to offer and was in a safe gated community. We really enjoyed the lake! The owners were super helpful and very fast with responses. It is a bit of a drive to the local Walmart (around 25 minutes) but there was a dollar general really close by. Overall, it was a great relaxing family vacation that helps you get away from it all!

Thanksgiving with Four Generations

What an amazing property! A beautiful home with every feature you could hope for and dream of. The house was perfect for our multigenerational gathering with something fun to do for everyone. The beautiful setting and comfortable home added to the wonderful time we all had. Our family called it a "special retreat" and "like a vacation" and the "best VRBO we have stayed in"! Great hosts added to the ease and enjoyment of the stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The property and location are amazing, and we spent so much of our time enjoying everything it had to offer. The boathouse, swim platform, swing, and hot tub were all used a lot and were definitely highlights of our trip. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and we made so many great memories enjoying the lake.The owner was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.The house itself was great, although we did feel the cleaning service could pay a little more attention to detail between guests. There were some areas, particularly the screened porch, that could have used a more thorough cleaning, as well as a few smaller housekeeping items inside the home. Nothing that kept us from enjoying our stay, but a little extra attention to those details would make an already wonderful property even better.We did have a few issues with some of the amenities during our stay. The surround sound at the boathouse stopped working after a few days, and we also had issues with the living room TV and indoor fireplace. These were minor inconveniences compared with everything we loved about the property.Overall, we had a fantastic week and truly enjoyed our stay. The lakefront setting and outdoor amenities really make this property special. It was a fun, relaxing place to spend the week, and we would absolutely recommend it and would happily stay here again!

Wonderful Family Week celebration

Beautiful lakeside home! We had up to 16 adults and everyone fit comfortably. We had so much fun fishing, kayaking, playing pool and ping pong, relaxing in the hot tub and listening to music on the sound system. We only left once for a dinner out-we spent a lot of time cooking in the gourmet kitchen. The house was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. When we needed to ask the host a question, he answered right away. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect for the family

We had a mixed age group with us on this vacation. From 75 down to 2 and everywhere in between. There was plenty to do for all ages provided inside but being in the water, on the dock, hot tub, or deck is where we spent 99% of our time if not cooking and eating. There was a lot of wonderful memories made by all. The house, dock, and everything encompassed is very nice, clean, working, and very warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone and if we come back to Gaston we’ll book here again.

Wonderful family vacation spot

We had a wonderful time at On the Lake for our family reunion. The house is gorgeous and lake access wonderful. The kids had a wonderful time jumping off the dock and using the rope swing. We rented five homes in the area and although we knew this going in it was very hard to navigate between houses other than by boat. Which was a bit limiting for us for those with small children and older adults. It also limited late night visiting between houses for the teens. Just something to be aware of if you’re renting more than one house in the area for a family reunion. Other than that, it was a beautiful spot and Lake Gaston is very lovely.

Large Lake House with a Great Dock!

There were 13 of us staying at the house and you would have never known cause the house is so large and there are bedrooms & spaces for everyone! The best bedroom has to be the kids room over the garage… it can probably sleep 10 kids! We enjoyed the hot tub, the dock, the rope swing, the floating pad, the pool table, the ping pong table, and of course swimming and tubing in the lake! There are many areas in the house so everyone can spread out. The extra fridge in the garage is a nice bonus and we also liked the ice maker in the downstairs bar area. The beds were all comfortable and the upgrades and decor in the house are all very nice. The owners were very responsive to questions and any time there was an issue they were quick to fix it and make sure everything was taken care of for us during our stay. Would recommend this lake house to anyone who is planning to visit Lake Gaston. Thanks for opening up your home to us!

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house! Everything was exactly as described, and the amenities met all of our expectations. The house had so many great spaces for our family to gather together, as well as plenty of quiet spots to relax and unwind.The kitchen isn't huge, but it was very manageable and had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group.The cove was absolutely perfect for our family, especially with our six grandchildren. They were able to paddle around in the kayaks without us worrying about heavy boat traffic, which made for a fun and relaxing experience. The high-dive diving board was a huge hit, and with the water measuring about 12 feet deep, we felt comfortable letting everyone enjoy it. We also caught lots of fish, which made the trip even more memorable!Our host, Michael, was fabulous. He was friendly, responsive, and quick to answer any questions or messages throughout our stay.We highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway. We made wonderful memories and would love to go back!
