LYNLY MANOR is located on the beautiful west coast of Barbados between Speightstown (1.5 miles) and Holetown (6 miles). The Manor consists of a main house and two connecting luxury apartments. We are a short (300 yards) or 5 minute walk from the world-renowned Mullins Beach.

Come and relax in one of our 2 bedroom apartments . Enjoy the front and rear patios that capture the soft trade winds from the Caribbean and look out upon a quiet pastoral setting. The apartments are modern, airy and bright.

Want to pamper yourself? Contact the wonderful Indulgence spa (also within walking distance) which offers a full compliment of spa services as well as a full service gym.

Are water sports your thing? Mullins beach offers multiple water activities including jet skiing, parasailing and diving. Or, just relax and enjoy one of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Bring plenty of sun screen.

Enjoy fine dining? Barbados is known for its many restaurants and food establishments that will suit any taste or pocket. Make sure you try the flying fish.

Additional Information

Airport pick up and car rental can be arranged for reasonable rates. Lynly Manor has no required check in/check out times as we try to accommodate the varying schedules of our guests.

There is a 24 hour mini-mart, also within walking distance, that sells most items for your basic needs. Full service supermarkets are located in Speightstown and Holetown. Both locations have banks, restaurants, internet services and shopping areas. The public library in Speightstown offers free internet services.

The Manor is near a major transportation route. There are buses and minivans that pass every 5-10 minutes from 5AM to midnight.

Great place to stay!

We had a lovely stay at Lynly Manor, which is just as described. It is spacious, very well equipped and a nice breeze constantly blew though the Apartment. We preferred quieter Gibbes beach to Mullins, but that was also just a short walk away. Lynne and Lyle were perfect hosts and always responded quickly, even though we didn't get to meet them personally. Would definitely come back!

Vacation 2020

Lyle and Lynn are friendly and helpful and at the same time you hardly realize they are there. They were willing to help us arrange any trips we wanted to try. Also gave detailed instructions on buses and routes to closest town for shopping. It is a very nice place to stay and I hope that we will be able to stay again here sometime soon. I think anyone would enjoy their stay!

Lynly Manor..A great home away from home

Lyle and Lynne are wonderful hosts. So helpful . Even loaned me a charger as I forgot mine! Any problem in the apt. was rectified immediately. Lovely,quiet,safe area where the monkeys made our day when they visited the yard. I recommend this site to any able bodied individual as you have a couple of long blocks to walk to the beach. We enjoyed your comfortable home and hospitality Lyle and Lynne. Take care. Wally and Joan.

A wonderful stay away!

We didn’t know much about where to stay on the island other than we wanted to be close to a beach. Lynly guest house was a perfect cottage like experience for our family of 4. It was as described but more! It is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The neighbour hood is very safe. We got to know the friendly staff at the Rubis gas station mini mart... another 5 minute walk. There you can get all your basics food wise and they are always open. Lyle and Lynne were so helpful with information and reservations! We have 2 teenagers and they were able to come and go to the beach on their own. The bus stop is enroute to the beach and the bus system is simple to navigate. Lyle and Lynne arranged a taxi for us to Lynly house which was awesome. There is a nice little porch on the front and the back to sit out on....we often enjoyed a morning coffee and a book here. Hint to coffee drinkers.... coffee is hard to find so bring a bag of your own ground. There is a coffee maker in the kitchen. Overall, we found this property to be what we expected and would go back again. Lyle and Lynne were wonderful to deal with and would recommend them as hosts!

Quiet peaceful Stay at LYNLY Manor

Lynne and Lyle are amazing hosts. We were having difficulty in understanding the route to their place. Not only did they guide us in writing but also sent their manager Albert to the airport to guide us and give us the keys. They called us periodically as well to make sure we were doing ok. House was clean. No insects or mosquitoes. Kitchen had all the essential items. We didn't watch tv nor did laundry. 5 minutes walk to beautiful Mullins Beach. Grocery stores Massy was 7min drive. Overall we liked the place. Somethings that can be improved are Internet quality and newer linens.

Lovely place to stay & fabulous location!!!

Accommodation as described as per the photos. Lovely and clean, well equipped, TV channels were brilliant for watching sport. Only a Few minutes walk to the famous Mullins beach, also to the garage and a great place to eat called Bombas. We will definitely be returning to stay here!

Location and apartment just perfect.

The apartment was fully equipped and perfect for us. Close to the beach and the gas station. We always drive when in barbados and the location on the west cost is quiet and still convenient for speightstown and holetown. On our last day we had car trouble and the lovely owners offered to drive us to the airport if we needed. We will definitley stay again. Thanks Lynly Manor we enjoyed our stay very much.

Comfortable, affordable apartment

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment very much. Ceiling fans in several rooms plus A/C in the bedrooms made it very comfortable on hot evenings and nights. We arrived late in the evening but our gracious, friendly hosts were there to greet us and help us get settled. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to Mullins beach and Beach Bar. It is close to the bus route but we had a rental car, which was great for exploring the island. We could choose from two outdoor sitting areas so that we could always be comfortable out of the strong sun and heat. The apartment could use a few more dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils so that the dishwasher wouldn't have to be used so often. We had a problem with the bathroom light not working but it was fixed very quickly. Lynn and Lyle couldn't have been better hosts, so kind, friendly and interesting to talk to.

Delightful & Welcoming

The apartment was comfortable, clean and simply furnished for basic cooking. Our hosts were fabulous - welcoming, helpful, responsive to small emergencies - and knowledgable about the island both before our visit by email and during our time in Barbados. Area was very quiet and so convenient to the beach at Mullins Bay. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and convenient location.

My husband and myself have just spent one month at Lynly Manor. The location is ideal and so peaceful yet just a short walk to Mullins beach and the bus stop. Where you can easily get to the North or South of the Island for just 2 Barbadian dollars. The apartment is spacious and has all the conveniences for a self catering holiday. There is a small patio to the front for al fresco dining.

A HOME-AWAY-FROM HOME

We recently spent a month at Lynly Manor in the second floor apartment. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, windows and doors are screened and security is excellent. We liked the area, visits from the green monkeys, birds in the garden and fire flies at night. It's a short walk down the hill to Mullins Beach where the water is calm and good for swimming. Mullins Beach Bar has food, cold drinks and rental chairs and umbrellas are available for the day. It's a perfect place to watch the sunset. Speightstown and Holetown are close by and have large supermarkets, banks, restaurants, shops, etc. A convenience store that stocks basics is a short walk from the Manor, at the Rubis Gas Station. We got around by bus. Service is frequent and efficient for $2.00 a trip. The owners, Lynn and Lyle were in residence while we were there and they are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Beautiful Barbados.

Great place in Mullins Bay

This destination and accommodations were perfect for us. The two bedroom was spacious with a great kitchen, living room, balconies, and awesome shower. Great AC as well. It was clean and Lynn/Lyle could not have been more accommodating. Explained any question we had and then some. Mullins Bay was a short walk down a hill(great latte/coffee at Rubis gas at the bottom of the hill. Short walk to great beaches and Bomba's and Cheers for decent food at reasonable prices. We are glad we did not use a car as driving can be a tad shaky. Yellow busses were a local treat to be sure as were the gov't blue busses. Yellow way more frequent. We also used Malachi for a taxi from the airport($60) for the two of us. A tad expensive but worth it in the dark. All taxi men including Davis were fantastic if we wished to get dressed up to go out, though most evenings were very casual. Awesome food! Try the souse on Saturday at the tan house(Laurel) across from our favorite beach(Paynes beach) near 1 Sandy Lane(a luxurious villa). Atlantic coast pretty but not much happening and rough seas. Stick to the west,south coasts and do not overlook North Point. Awesome views. Great snorkeling off any reef. Great rays and colorful fish and turtles. Will be back!!

Quiet Neighborhood, Friendly Hosts, Very Clean

Very clean, well equipped spacious apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood. Lynne and Lyle were very welcoming helpful hosts. Everything you need is provided. Would highly recommend. Bus service is cheap and travels all over the island so a car isn't necessary. Enjoyed nearby Gibb's beach, less crowded. Oisten's fish fry was delicious. St. Nicholas Abbey is a must see. Great snorkeling (fish and turtles) at the coral reef, south end of Mullin's beach. Check out the bakery in nearby Speightstown for some yummy treats, only a short 20 minute walk. Watch for the monkeys crossing in front of the property early in the morning. Renting this property you certainly won't be disappointed. Thanks for all your help Lynne and Lyle.

at home in Barbados! Great Hosts, great location

We stayed at Lynly Manor for 2 weeks during the Christmas Holidays (2014) with our 6 year old daughter. It exceeded our expectations in a big way. The description of the property was very accurate and well equipped. The apartment was even better than the pictures! Beautiful Mullins Beach is less than a 5 minutes walk down the street. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were very gracious, extremely helpful with everything that might occur. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Mullins Beach is just a short walk or a bit further there is Gibbs Beach. Monkeys on coconout trees, it was so surprising! No mosquito at all (in December…) The nearest Supermarket is 1,5 miles away. Wonderful and strategic location for visiting Barbados For travel over the Island a car is not required. If you need, Trevor’s taxi service (246) 257- 7475 or Malachi are highly recommended, honest and reasonable charges. Local buses are within a 5 minute walk. It was wonderful to stay on the wonderful and exclusive West Coast, but far removed from overcrowded resorts. Lynly Manor is excellent value for the money. Do not hesitate! Thank you Lynne and Lyle

Relaxing and Excellent Vacation Rental!

Our three week March stay at Lynly Manor was most relaxing and enjoyable. Lynne and Lyle, our hosts and owners, were very gracious and helpful in all areas of our needs. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It was well equipped for all our cooking and daily requirements. To have a washer and dryer on site was a bonus, especially where we were staying for 3 weeks. The on-site internet connection made it possible to keep in touch with our family and friends often. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Mullins Beach is just a short walk and once there we could either relax at that beach or walk a bit further along the beach to Gibbs Beach. For travel over the Island a car is not required. Local buses are within a 5 minute walk. The government (blue) buses run on a defined schedule and for $2.00 Barbados you can go anywhere on the island (just ask for a transfer if needed). The private (yellow) buses are also $2.00 per ride but you can’t ask for a transfer. These (yellow) buses will pick up and drop off at the bus stops and sometimes anywhere along the road! We would highly recommend staying at Lynly Manor for your vacation in Barbados.

wonderful - wundervoll

we had a wonderful time in this apartment. why? first of all because of lynne and lyle, the owners: they are wonderful people, friendly and open-minded, extremely helpful with everything that might occur. secondly because of the apartment : it is very clean, well equipped and wonderfully spacious inside and with two balconies outside. thirdly because of the beach : you can walk down to it because it is only some minutes away. it's great for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and enjoying a sun-downer in the evening . would we book it again? we definitely hope so . wir hatten gerade einen wundervollen aufenthalt in diesem appartment. warum? erstens wegen lynne und lyle : wundervolle menschen, freundlich, offenherzig und hilfreich bei allem was einen bewegt. zweitens wegen des appartments : es ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und erfreulich großzügig angelegt -außerdem ein balkon vorne und ein anderer weiter hinten. drittens wegen des strandes : man kann hinlaufen, da er nur wenige minuten entfernt ist. man kann gut schwimmen, schnorcheln, sich sonnen und am abend bei bedarf einen cocktail trinken. würden wir wieder buchen? wir hoffen doch sehr .

Excellent Vacation Rental !!!!!

We stayed at Lynly Manor for one week during the Christmas Holidays(2012). What an incredible place to stay. It exceeded our expectations in a big way. The description of the property was very accurate and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. The apartment was exactly as what we saw in the pictures, in fact, it looks even better than the pictures! Mrs. Thomas was very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful Mullins Beach is less than a 5 minutes walk down the street. I would highly recommend Lynly Manor to anyone wishing to stay in Barbados. Actually, they say that actions speaks louder than words, we already booked the apartment for 2 weeks in December 2013! Thanks again for an amazing vacation and see you in December!

Great Vacation Rental

My family and I stayed at Lynly Manor and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The listing description is accurate, the apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the apartment and was within walking distance to a few restaurants. Our hosts were very gracious making sure all of our needs were met and questions were answered. The listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance, the apartment looked better in person. It was clean and well furnished with all of the amenities promised. It was a great value and we would recommend this property to our friends and relatives. In the future, we would love to stay again at Lynly Manor!

Spring Break

Our stay at Lynly Manor was wonderful! Lynne and Lyle are excellent hosts and very willing to answer any and all questions. The apartment is centrally located to all sight seeing activites and within a short walking distance to the beach. The apartment is spacious and had everything that we could possibly need. We spent 21 breathtaking ...

We spent 21 breathtaking days at Lynly Manor. The apartment was perfect in every way. I especially enjoyed the solitude of the neighborhood and proximity to the sparkling blue waters of Mullins beach. Last, but not least: The owners Lynne and Lyle were very accomodating and always available to assist us in anyway they could.

We stayed at Lynly Manor ...

We stayed at Lynly Manor for 7 days and were more than satisfied with the apartment. It has a great location within easy access to Mullins Beach and the Main Road. We stayed 11 nights at Ly...

We stayed 11 nights at Lynly Manor and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The apartmeny is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The location in a residential area meant that it was quiet and private. We loved the East- and West-facing balconies and the soft tradewinds. Mullins Beach is beautiful. When we went for a swim early in the morning we had it to ourselves.It was wonderful to stay on the desireable West Coast, but far removed from overcrowded resorts. Lynly Manor is excellent value for the money.

The definitive "barefoot ...

The definitive "barefoot vacation." Quiet, privacy, tidiness. The apartment was airy and bright. We cooked and barbecued every day. The neighborhood was pleasant, convenient, and totally residential, not touristy at all (except the splendid beach 5 minutes away). Excellent manager. Great value too. We hope to return to this place on beautiful Barbados!
