Great visit, the cabin was clean and well appointed. We loved the location, having breakfast on the deck every morning with the hummingbirds was a treat. Very peaceful and private.

Hi, thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify, the upstairs shower is a shower and tub combo (not just a tub).

This is an amazing cabin! My husband took me for a getaway before a pending surgery and it was a relaxing and wonderful getaway. Just what the doctor ordered. Hosts were great at communicating and helpful. We will definitely return. 10/10

Quiet A-frame in Ruidoso

An older but well-loved property, this A frame was more than we needed. It was pet friendly, with a nice side yard for dogs. The kitchen was well-equipped. It wasn’t fancy, but was clean and comfortable. It did have a circular staircase to the master bedroom that might give older folks some trouble. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the wildlife.

Perfect spring break

We had such a great time at the lazy dog lodge! Everything was perfect! We had everything thing we needed. In the kitchen, literally everything we needed to make everything we wanted during our stay. The fireplace was SO COZY! All the pet stuff that was there available to us to use. The yard was perfect for the dogs. The games were a wonderful touch. There is not a single thing we did not like from our stay. We will be back!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE - this place is not only overpriced, dirty and dingy but it’s unsafe. We realized the thermostat indicated high levels of carbon dioxide and volatile organic chemicals and said to open doors and windows on the second night. We had to start packing up my family and young daughter who had a low oxygen reading at 4AM to leave the property. Aside from that terrible ventilation issue (can only imagine how bad it would be in winter) the place is dingy and gross. There is caked who knows what behind kitchen sink, dead bugs and dust in the window sills, and the carpets and furniture are old and gross - probably decades old. To top it off when you walk in it smells like bad incense. The photos look nothing like the actual place. No one should be allowed to stay here so stay away.

Winter land Family Trip

We had a great time and the Cabin was perfect. It was much nicer in person then the photos posted on website. It was beautiful and in a great location. The cabin included everything we needed and extras from disinfectant cleaning supplies, shampoo, body wash, and extra toilet paper and napkins. The host was also great at replying when we had any questions. I definitely recommend this place to stay and we will be coming back soon.
