We stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was the best vacay ever! Got to watch the sunset while paddle boarding my way into the lake. The kids made so many memories and lots of fishing! Thank you for an amazing vacation

The house is spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed cooking in a fully stocked kitchen, lounging in the living area, movie time in the theater, and sleeping in! The blackout curtains and comfy beds made for great sleeping conditions. Mike was a great host and made communication easy.

The perfect getaway with kids! Met up with some friends and our young children and could not have asked for a better set up. Beautiful, well-stocked house with family-friendly amenities, games, etc. Host super helpful and responsive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

LR Spring Game

Our family stayed here for the Lenoir Rhyne spring football game. We LOVED the house and the neighborhood. We hope to stay here again in the fall.

Ollie's Hideaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ollie's Hideway, super clean, very nice property that we'd highly recomend staying at. Mike the property manager was very helpful and the check in process was too easy. We'll gladly stay at this property down the road again, 5 Stars!

Birthday Celebration

This place was perfect for a weekend celebration. The weather cooperated as well. This allowed for a bonfire by the lake, grilling, and enjoying the wonderful view of the lake. Excellent stay!

Another great stay

Our second time at Ollie’s Hideway. It’s a very clean and comfortable home. We enjoy how high it sits up looking over the trees. The property manager is great too. We hope to come back!

Magical Wedding Weekend

My husband is from Kansas and I was looking for a place for the family to stay with us during my son’s wedding in Hiddenite. Ollie’s Hideaway was such a wonderful experience for us all! We enjoyed being able to get much needed rest and fellowship in beautiful surroundings. We are hoping to book again for more family getaways!

Great rental on Lake Hickory

Excellent house on Lake Hickory. Large common spaces with views, multiple decks and a nice kitchen. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. Michael was great to work with. The house exceeded expectations.

Super Clean. Awesome House! We just didn’t get enough time. We were in Hickory for a family wedding. Perfect location. Short drive into town. Great Communication and Easy check in/ out. Would love to come back and enjoy more time relaxing. Plenty of room and very well equipped. Highly Recommend. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

This was one of the best-stocked and cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in! The kitchen had everything—from tons of serving and cooking dishes to two ovens—and the pantry was filled with spices, teas, oils, sugar, and other thoughtful essentials. Even the fridge had those little things you might only need a small amount of, like mustard or soy sauce. We were able to host our local family for Thanksgiving with ease. There was even a turkey roasting pan—major win! There was plenty of space to cook, eat, and relax together. We’d love to come back during the warmer months to enjoy the lake.

Excellent

The place was clean and there was so much space. We rented the house for family out of town who were here for a family event. There were plenty of supplies, the kitchen was stocked, the lake was beautiful, and the host were very responsive. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it to family/friends.

Great stay

We loved the house itself - beautiful, spacious. The games and TV / theater were wonderfully fun. The setting feels secluded and private. We even saw a doe and two fawns browsing on the property. The sheltered cove was a great place to try out the kayak and paddle board before venturing further into the lake. Great location - things in Hickory were easy to get to when we wanted, but the location is very quiet. We would absolutely come here again!
