Private entrance and private parking in this Cape style home.
You enter through the back door into a kitchenette with cooking items, full fridge, four burners, toaster oven, coffee maker and seating area. Bathroom is on this floor as well as a bedroom with a double bed. Harwood floors throughout.
When you leave this area and go downstairs to the lower level basement you will find room in lower level has queen size bed, mini fridge, microwave. Desk for working and reading area. Bright & sunny- open floor plan. About a mile and half to Old Silver Beach and Megansett Beach. Short walk to Silver Beach pizza, Oysters 2, Silver Lounge. Walk to beginning of Shining Sea Bike Path which is 10 miles to Woods Hole where path ends and you can take Steamship Authority to Martha's Vineyard. Bike rentals are a short stroll away. 10 minute drive to the Bourne Bridge. What people love most about this is the location. Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard is just 15 minute drive. Charming downtown area as well.

Hosts were extremely nice, however the house is split in half and they live on the other side, which wasn’t clearly described in the booking.

Very nice location in North Falmouth where things feel timeless. The only disadvantage was there is no living/sitting room. You can sit in the kitchen or be in the bedrooms. Host was attentive and available.

I want to preface that the home was clean and the host was very pleasant. I will be very honest (and take responsibility) that upon booking I was unaware that this was a shared space separated by a locked door in the hallway. I don’t usually book shared spacing although this was one of the better experiences I’ve had in a shared space stay. The parking situation was nice as we had the entire driveway for our cars, the distance to the ferry is extremely convenient to get over to Martha’s, and joy gave the utmost best food recommendations. The only downside is my oversight on the listing being a shared space- that would be the only reason I wouldn’t stay again BUT OTHERWISE PHENOMENAL HOST and space was otherwise as presented and as listed, very pleasant family, clean spacing, quiet neighborhood, nice local bike trails, really nice local convenient store with everything (the owner is was so cute and pleasant)!

Loved our stay

This place has real privacy, and the bed is super comfortable.Our host was really helpful, and even recommended things we could do in the area. Had a wonderful time.

Fun at Silver Beach

Great location, for a home base while vacationing on the Cape. The host provided great recommendations and tips on the best places foe drinks, meals and little gettaways to Marthas Vineyard.

A convenient location close to several beaches

We stayed at Joy’s while visiting family close by. We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood, the charming green backyard, and above all Joy’s hospitality. Very comfortable bed in a spacious bedroom and a well equipped bathroom.

My husband and I had a great weekend stay! The location was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop for breakfast and then took our bikes down the beautiful Shining Sea Trail to Woods Hole for the day. We did not need to drive at all. Listing was accurate, and check in was easy. Shared bathroom was well managed. The hosts were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

Convenient, Cheap

Stayed here while working a job nearby. With short notice, I booked the cheapest place around, worrying if I should have payed extra for a hotel. It was worth it. Convenient location, better and cheaper than a hotel, and avoided lots of traffic on the way into work. I would stay here again if I ever work in Cape Cod again.

Location is 1.5 miles to old silver beach, 1.25 miles to megansett beach, .short walk to daily brew restaurant, bike rental is .25 of a mile and the shining sea bike path abuts out street. Shining sea bike path to woodshole is 10 miles on a beautiful pathway - you can take the ferry there to Martha's Vineyard . Or park downtown falmouth which is a 10 minute drive and take the island queen ferry to Martha's Vineyard - so many gems close by. 10 minutes to the bourne bridge make this a convenient location to explore cape cod and Boston is approximately an hour and 15 minutes drive. Convent and quiet location.
