This property is beautiful and very spacious as advertised. Unfortunately , there were many maintenance issues with the landscaping shrubbery , and some of the outdoor furnishings were quite dilapidated.

I could not have asked for a better property to host friends and family at. Ample space for guests to stay, a huge yard with one of the best views on the lake and plenty of activities included with the house for everyone to enjoy.

Great spot on the lake. Loved all the lake toys to include water mats, SUPs, life vests and kayaks. We rented the jet ski for the week. Played lots of card games between lake time. We had 17 people for some of the week aged between 17 and 87. Kitchen was a little tight when multiple cooks were working. Could have used some more forks etc. We did a volleyball night with the crew on the court and took advantage of the fire pit one night. Weather cooperated so didn’t take full advantage of the game room.

Our family group included twenty people ranging from 78 years old to a two-year-old. This was our first time doing our family vacation at a lake. We could not have asked for a better location and property. Every person was able to take advantage of something there. We used almost everything the property had to offer. The group spent a lot of our time on the boat dock, swimming, floating on the "lily pads", using the paddle boards etc. and just hanging out. Exactly what we wanted with a multi-generational group. The game room, the volleyball court, the hot tub, the firepit and the porch were perfect additions to use during the week. In summary, the Heavenly Lakeview Hideaway was a perfect place for a family vacation.

Family gathering for ages 1 to 60 - perfect for our group. Game room was a big hit! Paddle boards, kayaks, with life jackets were much utilized.

Selected this property for a family reunion (17 ppl) and small wedding (25 guests including family staying on property). Location was beautiful, beds were comfortable and house and garage were well equiped. Lots of water toys, vests & floaties. Game room was cool. Second kitchen was a nice option. Unfortunately one of the 8 listed bedrooms was in the separate building. This was not disclosed in the listing description. House was over priced for its dirty & run down condition. Stair balusters and baseboards were disgusting. Several bar stools and dining room chairs had loose legs or cross braces. Some of the sunroom furniture seat cushions were flat. Top of stairs master closet door barely attached. Stained bed linens in another bedroom. Vollyball court was overgrown with weeds.Event fee was not disclosed, even after our inquiry, until just days before our refund period expired, giving us no time to find an alternate location. Communication, other than automated through VRBO, was poor. I would recommend this property for location only. It is a very beautiful spot on the lake.

Great spot for our family to gather. The host was nice, the view is EXCELLENT, and the house is spacious with all the necessary items for a comfortable stay away from home. I hope the family votes to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Some repairs were being done on the water deck so wasn’t able to easily access that. The volleyball court was the highlight of the games. Lots of water toys that everyone enjoyed.

Great location. Would be an awesome spot during the summer in warmer weather, but we had a blast and Zee is great.

Perfect location, plentiful amenities

Zee was more than prompt and accommodating throughout the booking process and during/after our stay. The property kept 7 teens busy all week! Lake Norman is beautiful! We would definitely visit again!

House very comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of outside seating . The waterfront access easy, being able to use kayaks and paddle boards and floats was great. Lovely quiet cove on Lake Norman.plenty of room for 20 people

We loved this house for our family vacation! Having the game room separate from the main house was a big plus so the night owls weren’t disturbing the early birds. The house also came stocked with everything you could want on the lake. Everyone enjoyed the vacation and we hope to book our next one here !

A wonderful location on Lake Norman in a beautiful neighborhood. Plenty of room for a large group. Beds were comfortable. A large variety of water toys including kayaks, paddle boards and a pedal boat. This property is older and has seen some wear. There are maintenance needs in and outside. The shrubbery is about to overpower the walkways. Outdoor furniture is abundant but proceed with some caution. There are various fixtures in need of bulbs, inoperable bathroom fans, TVs with no remotes, and some furniture that has seen better days.Do bring laundry detergent, paper towels, napkins, Kleenex, garbage bags and toilet paper. Shower products are provided in most bathrooms but hand soap is negligible. There are no blow dryers.The kitchen is fine if your plan is to heat prepared food or strictly grill. It is very minimally equipped for cooking in terms of cookware. There are large plates and a few larger cereal bowls. There are no children’s plates, cups or flatware. There is a Keurig, Mr. Coffee, electric teakettle, air fryer and a large counter oven in addition to the usual microwave & oven. Of course if it matters to you, it is always wise to bring a good knife! (There is one paring knife.)We have stayed in many vacation rentals and overall this was fine for our long weekend sibling gathering. We enjoyed the beautiful views, time on the lake, shooting pool, ping pong and sweet reunion.

Great spot

Took some high school seniors on a spring break trip to this location. It was a great house for the group. I would rent it again. Lovely spot!

Great place for large groups!

Zee was a great host. The home was comfortable and had plenty of room for all 14 of our guests. There were restaurants and grocery stores close by. Everyone enjoyed the stay. Thanks Zee!

Loved our stay!

Zee was a wonderful host! He met us at the property when we checked in to welcome us and show us around the property. The view and access to the lake is amazing and the volleyball court was a huge hit…..lots of fun!

Fantastic Property

We had a fairly large group of 14 people and the property had plenty of room and everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The host was very accessible and greeted us at the property when we arrived and gave us a tour. Check in and out was easy and I would strongly recommend this property to anyone.

Best vacation ever

Every year we take the family on vacation and we have to say this is our very favorite spot so far! This will be where we probably gather every year from now on. I can’t say enough good things about the owner, the property itself and the game room was amazing!

Eight separate bedrooms is a huge plus. Great patios and views. Zee was very helpful getting us settled in.

Wonderful location. Great dock for all water based activities. The view is incredible. There are a few house features that could use a bit of updating, however, all in all, the house is well maintained. The host, Zee, was very attentive. Our family had a wonderful week on the lake.

From booking to departure everything was on point. Zee is fantastic and was there on check in to give us the grand tour; he was also available throughout our stay. Beautiful property, beautiful location.Highly recommend for groups and family get togethers

Perfect stay!

We had a fantastic family stay! We loved all of the SUPs, kayaks, and floats. The firepit also was wonderful! Lots of spaces to gather inside and out so that we could all spend time. We also rented the pontoon boat and that added so much fun to the week. Zee was super-responsive before and during our stay. Definitely great for a big group.

Perfect for big groups

The house is exactly as pictured on the website. Perfectly clean, communication with Zee was ALWAYS prompt and efficient. We loved the place and it provided us with everything we needed!
