Our stay was amazing! The house was perfect for our needs and Marty was a great host. Being on the lake is always a great time :) Definitely recommend!

The house is on the lake with easy access for boating. The house was very roomy for our 10 family members. Morning’s were spent relaxing on the covered patio right on the water. The kitchen had everything we needed and all the rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, corn hole, paddle boards and the pontoon! Marty was an excellent host and answered any questions we had on a timely basis. We hope to rent again!

We had the most wonderful trip to Mooresville and could not have asked for a better host! Marty was available for every question and every need, although you’d be hard pressed to find one I’d be willing to bet. He has everything available and more. We’ll be back for sure!

Claire & guest were great guest very easy to communicate with & left the house in great shape. Only wish they'd hade more sunshine to enjoy the lake. They seemed to enjoy their stay always welcome back.

This house is on the lake and a great location. House was very suitable and we enjoyed our stay. Rented the pontoon boat for two days and enjoyed the Lake.

Amazing stay!

Host was communicative and made the entire process so easy, including answering and questions or requests that popped up. House was clean and perfect for my group of friends and our boat for an amazing 4th of July. Tons of seating and places to hang out, we loved every second. Highly recommend!

Graduation celebration

Spent a long weekend with friends and family Celebrating my son’s 12th grad graduation. This house had everything we needed to throw a cookout/seafood boil. there was plenty of activities to keep a group of teenagers busy. Paddle boarding, and fishing seemed to be the favorite. I would stay here again.

Kitchen counters were dirty, Faucets constantly dripped. Master Bathroom had mold because the vent didn't work. Cockroaches. Most rooms had large scrapes in the walls. Dining room is painted with 2 different finishes on the same wall. One shower was so narrow I couldn't turn around in it. The deck off the kitchen had steps that were unsafe. Handrails are barely attached. Boat house had no AC or hot water on second floor. All screens on the boat house porch have holes or are barely attached. Grill on boat house deck was unusable. Marty said he would replace it. He brought a new propane tank and tried cleaning it. It was still unusable. Smoker at main house was just as dirty. Marty cleaned it a little. My brother finally cleaned it enough for us to use. Shower in the lower level leaked onto the floor and my sister-in-law almost slipped and fell. Lower-level ceiling had spots of water leaks in numerous places. Kitchen lights were filled with dead bugs. Patio furniture at boat house is falling apart. Communication with Marty is poor at best. Access codes to enter didn't work. Instead of putting away his liquor, he left it out throughout the house with specific instructions not to touch. He has numerous rooms that are locked, so he could have put them away. We made the best of the situation but will never rent this location again. I will also think twice before using VRBO to book a vacation rental. I will also advise my friends to be careful using your services.

Had a small wedding for our granddaughter. The lakefront property was perfect. Easily accommodated 12 of the out of town guests with room to spare. Kitchen with more than we needed. Extremely family friendly property. Could not have asked for a more serene setting for our plans. The host (Marty) : could not ask for better or more accommodating host, was amazing. His thoughtfulness & attention in making sure we had all we needed was without a doubt unmatched hospitality!The lake house is a absolute hidden gem. Our newly married granddaughter & spouse were beyond delighted with the event, as were we.

This was the perfect place for a girls weekend with my friends, with plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed having room to spread out or gather. The house was really beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice breakfast. We loved lounging on the dock and in multiple sitting areas by the lake. Would love to come back! Marty was also a fantastic communicator and made us feel welcome and made sure we had what we needed. Thank you!
