This is a beautiful and spacious cabin with a great view of Loon Lake. The hosts communicated extremely well and were very attentive to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We utilized the kayaks, canoe, water floats, lake front, and fire pit. We highly recommend and look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a great week at the Loon Lake house. The house was exactly as described. The basement albeit unfinished was great for the kiddos. The house is not air-conditioned, and we hit a heatwave, but the airflow in the house kept us cool enough. The hosts were fantastic and the house was loaded with the kitchen and bedroom essentials. We appreciate the hospitality!

Beautiful home & scenery. We stayed during "off season" and it was still a wonderful time. Lots of games provided & plenty of space to play.

This place is perfect for our family. Our 3rd year in a row to stay here for our traditional family fall walk. Always good communication, clean and everything we need. Love the lake view.

Beautiful property on a fantastic lake. The whole family and dog loved swimming in the lake and the view is quite stunning from the house. The house had all the amenities you could ask for to make the stay very easy and enjoyable. Will definitely be back!

Deer Camp

This place is perfect for camp of any sorts with large groups of people. Communication of the process is nice and easy with the owners. There's an absolutely beautiful view and so much to do in the area Looking forward to a trip back during ice fishing season already.

Fall color tour weekend

This place was exceptional. Everything we needed. Family that was staying at another place came on Saturday to watch the michigan football game. They couldn’t get it at the other place! Clean, beautiful. Would love to stay again next year.

Family and friends gathering on the lake

Our group had a great weekend in this fabulous house on Loon Lake, equipped with everything we needed, inside and out. The house was spacious and comfortable. Beautiful lake views from every window. We kayaked, canoed and swam. We grilled dinner on the patio and enjoyed a bonfire, toasting marshmallows on the fire pit. Communication with the owners was excellent! Highly recommend this place!

Amazing experience

The home is amazing!! The property has everything you could imagine. We rented a boat from a local place and had the best time of our lives. The shore is shallow and sandy, great for younger kids to play in or gradually wade out. The house is outfitted with everything you might need. The owners are fantastically kind. This house goes on my list of favorites.

End of a once in a lifetime trip

We stayed here at the end of our 5 Great Lakes in 24 hour trip. It was exactly what we needed. The lake was perfect; the sitting area made it so easy to stay down there for the day. Lots of room! The cottage itself was perfect. Ample living space and the bedrooms were great for each of the 3 couples. Jim and Lori were fantastic hosts and very responsive leading up to the trip. Would absolutely recommend and return if we had the opportunity!

Beautiful peaceful loon lake

We had the most amazing time here with our dog over memorial day. It was so peaceful and quiet on the lake. There are lots of great areas both indoors and outdoors to spend time. Jim was extremely responsive to questions, including right when we got in at 10 pm for a question about how to turn the grill on. We only had 2 people, but there was a lot of room for additional people if you have a larger group. I would love to go back!

Wonderful lake vacation

Perfect vacation rental! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how clean and comfortable the home was. The house is fully stocked with everything that may be needed - tons of extra towels and bedding, dishes, utensils, and cooking/bakeware, games and puzzles, outdoor games, even extra supplies for dogs and young children. Plenty of firewood was stacked and ready to go. The lake was warm and quiet, and the dock was perfect for our boat. The owners' communication was clear, responsive, and warm and friendly, and they allowed our dogs. We have rented many lake homes for vacation over the years, and this ranks at the top! We will definitely be booking again!

Amazing

We brought our family (8 of us) for a special trip before our kids move out of the house. This place surpassed our expectations and we had an amazing week. We felt spoiled. Everything was clean and seemed new. There is a great view of the lake and we kept our boat tied at the dock. The only downfall is 93 steps to the lake, but it is worth every step. I highly recommend this place.

Family vacation

Our family had such a great time at this location. The home was beautiful, fully stocked with everything we needed and was very clean. We had a bonfire all the time and the wood was supplied. We really enjoyed spending time in the water, btw, the water is crystal clear! The steps going to the water are not bad going down…coming back up was a little rough after spending hours floating on the water. If you have bad hips I wouldn’t recommend. Overall our experience at this home was fantastic and my family created wonderful lifelong memories.

Beautiful lake house property

We loved this lake house property & our 2 family group really enjoyed our time there! The upstairs was perfect for our group of 6 kids to each have their own sleeping space but still be together. The house had all of the comforts of home & there wasn’t anything that seemed “missing” when we needed it. There are quite a bit of steps to the lake, but as long as we remembered everything we needed when we headed down then we were all good. The kids loved taking the kayaks out & the adults just stayed by the dock. The lake was so clear and we loved that the water was shallow off of the dock so that the kids could play without worries. The area was great too & we’ve already talked about planning a trip back!
