Great beach home on Gulf of Mexico in San Benito, Mexico. Secluded beach where you rarely see anyone, only the occasional fishing boat. White, sandy beach--walk out into the Gulf 100 yards before water is above shoulders. Perfect for long distance swimming.

Beautifully covered and protected patio overlooking the Gulf with dining tables. Refreshing, filtered, staired pool allows for easy entry and seating on steps with built-in chaises at far end. Chaise lounges and chairs for lots of seating and sun worshipping. Courtyard has gardens and sheltered dining and sunning. Perfect for those breezy days or cooler nights.

Z'uno is an ideal retreat for a couple with the occasional guest(s) or a family with a child or two. Stay a month at these great rates. Wonderful location for exploring Mayan ruins, Merida and the Yucatan Emerald Coast. Excellent restaurant nearby at the TechnoHotel located within 1/2 km, and more good dining in Progreso on the Malecon and in Merida. Spa available at Yucatan Reef Hotel.

Muy bien.

Muy bien todo en general. En especial el servicio del administrador que estuvo pendiente y resolvió los pocos inconveniente con prontitud. Los únicos comentarios, es que la cancelería es de muy baja calidad y poco funcional, con el cambió de este detalle, la casa sería aún mejor (conozco personas que pueden proponerles alternativas muy eficientes si deciden cambiar en algún momento). También los cortineros cuesta mucho trabajo moverlos y finalmente nosotros no viajamos con mascotas, sin embargo, nos dió la impresión que algunas alfombras tienen fuerte olor a orín de gato. Quitando estos puntos, el resto excelente!!

Adorable house by the sea in the Yucatán.

Everything was great about this little house. Very spacious and everything we needed. The pool was great and you can just walk from there directly to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Beautiful colors of the sea. I just wish the weather had been better to enjoy this wonderful gem. Thank you, Lisa.

Loved our getaway!

Z'Uno was indeed a perfect little beach cottage. We felt safe and loved the privacy. Having the beach just steps from the house was so enjoyable. Swimming in the Gulf was divine. We loved the patios and pool, too. Lisa and Ydelfonso were easy to reach. It was so beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We look forward to returning someday.

Perfect house for a perfect trip

The house has everything you need and more. A true paradise. We were perfectly welcomed. The house is big and you have plenty of space in the sun and in the shadow. After several trips in different countries, this one is on the summit of my list and the whole family can’t wait to go back to this wonderful place.Laurent

Quiet away from it all holiday

Well-priced on the beach location

Beautiful ocean view, on the beach location with small private pool. Small enclosed courtyard at the back of the house was perfect for windy days. Nice beach and lounge chairs with cushions and towels provided. Need a car if you are staying here as markets are not within walking distance. There is a nice walking trail across the road with views of flamingos and other waterfowl. This house is perfect if you’re interested in eating in frequently, the grill is great! Lots of shells and seaweed on the beach, so bring footwear if this is a problem for you. We would stay here again!

Relaxing, quiet beautiful setting

Love the sound of the ocean breeze rustling through the palms!

Sweet little beach house! Z’Uno has an amazing ocean view framed by some of the most beautiful palms I’ve ever seen! Comfy and well equipped with everything we needed. Love all the different outdoor seating and dining areas, we were even able to enjoy the pool in January!!! Also appreciate being away from the crowds of Progreso. Lisa and Ydelfonso went above and beyond to take care of us!

Exactly as advertised

This home was exactly what we hoped it would be. A perfect spot right on the beach with all the amenities one could need. I have nothing to bad to say about this home and hope to return in the future.

Z’Uno the Perfect Getaway

Many thanks to Lisa the owner of this beautiful beach house making our winter hiatus unforgettable. From this awesome pool to a tranquil courtyard when the winds picked up. If your looking for privacy with no worries this is perfect. But you do require a car due to the location.

Playa San Benito beach house 20 minutes outside of progreso

We enjoyed our stay here. Pictures were accurate of the beach house. It was clean and comfortable. However it could have been stocked better with toliet paper and dish soap. Everything else was well stocked dishes , towels and garbage bags.Our hot water kept going out. Was our only complaint. Other than that everything else was nature's doing as far as our power going in and out due to the weather we experienced while there. The weather wasn't ideal for what we expected but doable. We enjoyed our time here. It wasn't very convient to get around you definitely need a car. We were able to manuver without one with the help of Uber app. $10-13 to get to and from progreso . Hard to get a ride out but easy to get back. If you want to be away from noise and people this is the place. Lots of quite seren days for us which we loved. Everything in the house is electric and gas. So when the power goes out. Everything is out. It wasn't bad. For entertainment we played music , cards and dominoes. TV was available but you had to have your own account to watch Netflix , YouTube and Prime to watch. No up to date selecti movies on DVD available to watch.

Location is Beautiful!

The location of this property is perfect. The house is as described and fully equipped with all kitchen necessities. We stayed for a week and maybe saw 10 people walk by. The ocean is literally feet away from the bedroom. The only drawback we noticed was that the pool filter was not working, however, that was a minor issue compared to the breathtaking views. We hope to stay there again.

Great Place

This is a wonderful house. It has everything. Locatation, pool, well equipped house and a great beach. Z'Uno is extremely well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We only wish it was available next year.

Best Holiday Ever!

We just got back home after an amazing 4 week stay at Z'Uno, My Husband and I travel quite a bit and have stayed at many rental homes but it was really hard to leave this place, the house and location were perfect for us, it was very relaxing and peaceful, and close enough to Progreso or Merida if we needed to go get supplies, the house and layout are wonderful, very roomy for 2 people. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, lots of dishes,cutlery, great knifes, great set of pots and pans, lots of towels and beach towels, full size fridge, oven and outdoor Charcoal Grill, I picked up a regular toaster though, as there was just a toaster oven, we spent many hours on the beach, where my husband would fish and I would either read or draw and on most days you might see 10 people go by you on the beach, we also spent our afternoons in the courtyard, where it was not windy and we would barbecue and enjoy our afternoon cocktails, we also went to the Restaurant at the Techno Hotel a few times and the food and service there is very good, we booked there for Valentines Dinner and it was really good and a lot of fun! If you are looking for a awesome beach house to recharge and relax this is the place, we have already booked again for next year and can't wait to go back Linda and Randy

Amazing getaway house right on the Gulf of Mexico!

Wish we could keep this little gem all to ourselves, but Lisa has done a wonderful job making this house a comfortable home-away from home. The pool is awesome, the location perfect for relaxing, walking the beach, watching the amazing sunsets, and especially shell collecting, the beach is loaded! We will definitely be back.
