Klamath Riverview is the perfect home away from home for touring the Redwoods. You are going to enjoy the views from the large picture window and love relaxing on the covered deck. It is located in Chinook RV Resort. There are two houses at this location. Riverview is the unit upstairs. Please use stairs to access.

We would like to welcome you to Chinook RV Resort. We would like to invite you to come and stay with us as you travel along the famous Highway 101 through the Redwood Forest. There are warm lake-front fires in the evenings where we would like to meet you and welcome you to our park.

The windowsill in living room was collecting dust for some time. Dining chairs were stained and one set of blinds was broken. The on site host was very helpful and came immediately to set up the TV, which had been disconnected from the internet. The original ad says this is a home. It is an apartment. Kitchen supplies were missing a mixing, bowl, measuring cup and a cutting board.

Check in was handled through text message. Easy to locate and information for check in was accurate. However, “clean and cozy” is misleading and the photos are obviously several years old and misleading to the overall condition of the unit. There were dead flys & cobwebs everywhere. The handle to the oven door was broken and the sofa couch was so uncomfortable you couldn’t even sit on it. We left a day early due to weather and the lack of cleanliness and I messaged the host who never responded back to me. Spend a little more and stay in Crescent City.

Easy Redwoods Stopover

Worked great for our family of four as a stopover through the Redwoods. The home was clean, comfortable and quiet.

I liked how clean and spacious the place was, the beautiful view of the river. The only drawback was that there was a storm and the electricity went out and they didn't have a generator, but it was something natural, but it was a very pleasant stay.

Seeing Redwoods

It was clean and well furnished. I felt perfectly comfortable staying and sleeping here while we were in the area. It's near all of the hiking trails, beaches and tourist locations that we wanted to see. Had a great time here!

A very pleasant stay. The house was very clean and cozy. Very close to trees of mystery (about 5 minutes). Highly recommended!

I liked being by the river. We went and sat at the fire pit. It was very nice. We were able to do a load of laundry while we were there. Very quiet area.

Road Trip Lay Over

Little misguiding saying two bdrms. There are two beds in one room and a blow up mattress for the living\kitchen area. But overall a great place to stay, wish we had a little more time in the area.

Exploring Redwood National Park

The location is very good for visiting the national park. Many beautiful hikes and scenic roads at a decent driving distance. The house is OK for a couple. If you plan coming during cold months, bring warm clothes because, although it has a heater, when the sun disappears the house becomes pretty cold.

Had a great view from the back of property. Needs a little better cleaning in the bathroom hair everywhere’s. Recliner is broke and awkward for sitting.

Cabine at a RV park

Surprisingly, it was nice and warm inside. The beds were very comfortable and the house owner quickly solved a small issue with missing bed sheets for the fifth person. But the bathroom cleanliness needs improvement.

The owner was very nice and the cabin was pleasant and clean. I thought it was among other cabins/dwellings but it was in an RV park with only one other cabin. It was a good stopping point but not somewhere I’d like to stay more than a night. Many of the RVs appeared to have been there for quite some time.
