The Cottage was so clean, warm and had everything we needed for our stay. We not only recommend, but would definitely stay here again. The host is so kind and is great with communication.

Host was helpful and good to communicate with. The house was just what we needed for our stay. The location is fantastic to the redwoods hiking we did, and going to Trinidad for groceries and a meal was fun.The kitchen is awesome and the bedrooms were cozy and the layout was great. Sitting in the backyard at the big picnic table was a nice place for morning coffee. The fireplace in the family room made for nice warm evenings together as a family. Thank you for your hospitality :)

Beautiful home and great place for our family! The host was so great at communicating with us beforehand and gave great local suggestions. Would absolutely stay here again if we return to the area!

We enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was perfect. It’s located close to all the places we wanted to visit. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Loved it!

It was a comfortable and wondereul stay. The kitchen was easy to use, and all the essentias such as spices and cooking oil were provided. Both the bedroom and dining area were spacious enough for our family. Next time, we hope to visit during good weather and enjoy an out door BBQ.

This stay was even better than we thought it would be! Cozy yet spacious living room and dining area, all up to date and very well furnished. Can’t beat the proximity to the trails and the elk right down the road!

It was like coming home at the end of the day. So close to so many hiking trails. The corner market had what we wanted for breakfast, lunch & dinner. It was nice to cook meals instead of eating out ( there’s no options close by anyway). Nice being “off grid”

Hope cottage was spectacular. Very clean and has more than everything you could ever imagine needing. The cottage is so well decorated making it very comfortable to just hang out in especially after a big day of exploring. The creek that runs along the back side of the property is just beautiful. The entire area is very accessible from the cottage. We will definitely be back.

The Hope House is very nice and spacious, and it has been beautifully updated. It has 2 king beds, 4 bunks, and 1 bathroom. The mattresses are very comfortable, and the linens were a special treat.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need — even a wine opener, lol. The location is excellent and close to many popular trails. My favorites were Trillium Falls, Lady Bird Johnson Trail, and Fern Canyon.I would recommend this house in a heartbeat.

Awesome rental and location

We had an amazing time staying in this beautiful home! It is very spacious and well kept. We did many hikes and the attractions were not to far north or south! I would 100% recommend for a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Redwood Forest!

We loved this place. Its like it was meant to fit right into a redwood forest. The host was great and we had no problems at all during our stay. I stay in a fair amount of airB&B/vrbo type rentals, and this was one of my favorites. Its really nice, but still relaxing to be in it. It fit my family of 6 (4 kids) just right and they loved the bunk beds. We saw elk on the property, and a bear, deer, lots of bords, and sea lions all near by. Also the tide pools were awesone and only a few minutes away. This place was a home run for my family to stay at.

Great location for Fern Canyon and Redwoods trip. Very well stocked and newly remodeled. Owner was prompt with their reply to my questions. Elk right down the road; evidence they were on this property but we didn’t see any this time.
