The place is wonderful, and as described in the listing. Great location for hiking, wineries, and breweries all nearby. Everything you need is there, and the bathroom and the shower is very nice. Remember to bring body wash and shampoo (we forgot and it wasn’t provided).

We are so grateful we found this property. We were goi g to pay over 1000 for two rooms at the hotel down the road for two nights. Thankfully my sister found this as an alternative. It was so quaint and clean. It smelled good and everything looked brand new it was so well cared for. I could go on and on about the shower and how great the water pressure was. We were there two days and I took 3 showers because it was so nice. My parents and husband met the owner while I was gone early tog et ready for a wedding down the road and said they were very king. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again if we were ever in the area.

Beautiful place with everyone you need in a peaceful setting! Everything was spotlessly clean and although it was too cool during our visit for the pool, it looked clean and inviting. Check-in was simple and hosts are friendly and hospitable. You will not be disappointed!

Comfortable cabin near the southern entrance of the National Park

Overall great stay!

Communication was great. The place was as expected based on the posting. The shower is AMAZING - big, nice pressure, loved it. Full kitchen is really nice to have. We stayed during when it was exceptionally hot and the AC units worked great, kept us nice and cool. Love the location, very convenient to a lot of fun things - hiking, breweries, wineries, etc. overall we had a really great stay and hope to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great location, perfect for getaways

We visited the area for Edible Landscaping’s open house. We also visited Chiles Peach Orchard several times for fruit picking. There’s so much to do around Afton. We loved this home for our family. It’s very well located for all the things we wanted to do. The house was very well decorated and supplied in a minimalist sort of way. This was perfect for us because we have a very curious toddler who wants to get into everything. We had a bit more peaceful time since there was less for him to get into. The bathroom was gorgeous! And kiddo loved seeing the goats.

The apartment looked newly renovated and was spotless. The beds were super comfortable and there was a huge walk-in shower that was really nice. The host La was very friendly and accommodating. We’d love to stay here again!

The perfect place to stage a tour of local wineries and dining in Staunton. The apartment itself is beautiful with fantastic touches like a huge shower, room controlled temperatures and modern flooring and appliances. Highly recommend a stay here. We’ll be back!

My wife and I found the rental very well equipped and very clean and cozy. The artwork within the rental was way beyond standard and tasteful. The one bedroom with the single window had room darkening cellular shade and made it very dark which is great for a solid night sleep. I do wish it was a queen bed instead of a full size, but we managed. The tv selection for entertainment was good and better than most. Overall, highly recommended. La our guest was very kind and recommended different places to check out and she's certainly an avid gardener although it was early in the season to see much but some things were starting to pop out. My wife loves to garden so there was a good connection there.

Cute & Cozy

We loved our experience at Murphy's Place! We came up here for a Birthday/Valentine's Day weekend vacation, and we stayed busy the whole time! There is so much to do around the VRBO. Lots of wineries, breweries, shopping, and more!!! Charlottesville is a quick 20 mins away or so and Wintergreen Resort is about the same, but the opposite direction. We cannot wait to stay here again in the near future!! Big thanks to the hosts for making us feel comfortable and at home!
